Mount Eliza DISTRICT Cross Country
The Mount Eliza District Cross Country was held on Monday 25th May at Peninsula Grammar. Students who finished in the Top 10 in our house Cross Country were invited to attend.
The MENPS team of 60 runners performed remarkably well. All students ran their best and represented the school community proudly. We had five top 10 finishers and these students are heading to the Southern Peninsula Division Carnival on Wednesday 3rd June at Hastings Foreshore.
A big congratulations to all students who raced and good luck to the students who will represent MENPS at the Division level. Thank you to our parent helpers for walking to Peninsula with us and supervising our students.

These fantastic new additions will help provide a cooler, safer and more comfortable space for our students to play, explore and enjoy outdoor activities all year round. 🌳🛝

We’re so excited to see our playground transformed with extra shade and protection, making playtime even more enjoyable for everyone. A big thank you to everyone who has supported improvements to our school environment — projects like this make a real difference for our kids! ❤️💙

Get ready to brighten up the school on Thursday 4th June with our exciting Fluro Free Dress Day! 💛💚🩷

Students are invited to come dressed in their brightest fluro colours and help us raise funds for our Developmental Play Shed — a special space where creativity, imagination and play can grow. 🎨⚽🏡

Today, Class FD celebrated with a well-deserved pizza party after being the class that raised the most money for this year’s Colour Run! 🌈👏

A huge thank you to all the students and families for your incredible support, enthusiasm, and fundraising efforts. Your teamwork and school spirit made a big difference and helped make this year’s event such a success.

What an incredible day we had on Wednesday at our MENPS Cross Country! The energy, determination and school spirit on display made it such a fantastic event, and all of our students should be extremely proud of themselves.
It was so exciting to watch our students tackle the challenging hilly course, push through the tough moments and give their absolute best from start to finish. For some students, it was their very first cross country experience, while for others it was their final MENPS cross country and every single student should be celebrated for their effort and determination.
A huge thank you must go to our wonderful parent helpers. Events like this simply would not be possible without your support, encouragement and enthusiasm throughout the day.
We would also like to give a special shout out to our amazing MESC students, who ran the course multiple times to help guide and encourage our runners. Your support was outstanding! Our House Captains were also fantastic, doing an amazing job assisting and motivating our Foundation to Year 2 students around the course.
Congratulations to all students who finished in the top 10. An incredible achievement! It has also been fantastic to see the improvement and confidence of students who have been attending Running Club. Your hard work is certainly paying off.
Our District Cross Country Team is now displayed at the front of the hall, and a Compass note with further information will be sent out shortly.
