Book Week at Pinnacle ELC Beacon St!

What a wonderful day of books, imagination and dress-ups!

Our little readers brought along their favourite books and came dressed as some of their favourite characters. We had Minions, Spider-Man, Elsa, Woody from Toy Story, dinosaurs, Bluey, Snow White and so many other wonderful characters visiting our centre!

From magical princesses to superheroes and prehistoric adventures, Book Week gave our children the chance to bring their favourite stories to life and share their love of reading with their friends.

We love seeing children explore stories, use their imagination and discover the joy of books from an early age.

A big thank you to all our families for helping make Book Week so special!

🌿 Exciting News from Our Kangaroo Room! 🌿

Our Kangaroo Room at Beacon Street Children’s Centre has been absolutely loving our new excursion addition – Bush Kinder! 🌳✨

The children have been busy exploring the great outdoors, discovering different textures, and developing their awareness of nature. From feeling the crunch of leaves underfoot to observing mushrooms as they regrow, every visit is filled with curiosity and learning. 🍄

We’ve also been focusing on outdoor safety, helping children understand how to safely interact with their environment while enjoying the freedom of wide open spaces.

It’s been such a joy to watch their confidence, resilience, and connection to nature grow with each adventure! 💚

🧧🐉 Chinese New Year at Our Centre!

Red and gold filled our rooms as we celebrated with colourful decorations, beautiful traditional outfits, and big smiles all around ❤️✨

The highlight? Our dumpling cooking class! The children loved getting hands-on, learning about traditions, and tasting their delicious creations 🥟

A day full of culture, connection, and celebration — bringing our community together to welcome the Chinese New Year in the most joyful way.

We’re excited to welcome the new year with our newly updated outdoor yards for the children. Each space has been thoughtfully designed and refreshed with new features to inspire curiosity, exploration, and a sense of wonder as children engage with their environment. 🌿✨

Our Christmas concert celebrations were filled with joy, laughter, and festive cheer!😊 The children proudly performed their songs and dances, bringing big smiles to everyone watching! Throughout the day, the children enjoyed the butterfly enclosure, face painting, cooking classes, and lots of fun arts and craft activities. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas🎄🔔🎅🎁

At Beacon Street Children's Centre, our school readiness program benefits from our multicultural team and consistent educators who know each child's individual journey:
