Winter definitely hit this afternoon 🥶☔️.
Here are a few snippets from this afternoon!

The week ahead ✨
Monday: 2 x clients.
Saturday: 2 x clients + a meeting.

What does a session with me look like?
Every session is different and tailored to the clients individual goals.

On of my clients is currently working on speech sounds. During this session we:
• Practiced one of our sounds at a phrase level through multiple rounds of snap and talking about what we could see.
• Introduced a new target sound. This included reading a sound story to support the clients understanding of the new sound and mouth movements while also introducing visuals that we will use throughout practice.
• Completed three listening activities.
• Practised the new sound in isolation and discussed tips on how to support this at home.
• Finished the session with rounds of pop the pig and hungry dinos.

Therapy sessions are designed to be engaging, functional and suited to each clients learning style whilst still targeting their goals.

Those who know me know I love to be organised.
