Francesca's lessons focus on developing a relaxed technique, music reading, memory and enjoying making music.

Kobe's beautifully heartfelt performance of The Swan by Camille Saint-Saëns for his VCE cello performance. Kobe began lessons with me 9 years ago in year 4 and has been learning online since 2020. His technique, attention to detail and musicality prove that online lessons work! Kobe is currently working towards a grade 7 AMEB exam. Kobe has worked very diligently over the years to develop his technique and musicianship. I'm so proud! 😊

First rehearsal with my wonderful group of adult students. I think they sound pretty good for a first run 😊 We'll be having these rehearsals every 6 weeks!

My son with my first cello - an upside down viola with a pin stuck in the end 😄 I wasn't actually starting him on the cello here, I just couldn't resist showing him the cello. His preferred method is lying it on the floor and bowing the open strings 😊

A video recording project my students and I made during the Melbourne lockdown 2020. Students learned to play to a click and guide track. They all sent me individual audio and video files to create this video of Stranger Things.
