FOUR CANDIDATES. ONE POSITION.
The challenge isn’t attracting applicants anymore…
Most early learning services do not have a recruitment problem.
They have a selection problem.
We regularly see roles attract 100, 150, sometimes more than 200 applications.
Yet many services still tell us they “can’t find the right person.”
The challenge is rarely the number of applicants.
The challenge is identifying the one person who will still be making a positive contribution to your team twelve months from now.
Better recruitment is not about collecting more résumés.
It is about asking better questions, checking for cultural alignment, and resisting the temptation to hire the first acceptable candidate because the pressure is on.
What do you think is the biggest hiring mistake early learning services make today?
