🇫🇷 Le festival à Melbourne c'est avant tout l'occasion de participer à un grand événement avec une super énergie et plein de produits à découvrir !
C'est pour cette raison que chaque année je me porte volontaire pour aider à l'organisation de l'événement.À chaque fois je rencontre des personnes merveilleuses.
Et si vous pensez qu'être volontaire c'est beaucoup de travail, je vous dirais que c'est surtout beaucoup de joie et de rires ! 😉

🇦🇺 The Bastille Day festival in Melbourne is first a'd foremost the occasion to participate in a major event with a great energy ad lots of products to discover!
That's why, each year I volunteer to help with the organisation. Everytime I meet wonderful people.
And if you think being a volunteer is lot of work, I would say it's more about lots of joy and fun! 😉

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the festival, hosted 2 sessions of ! 😍

🙏 Thank you to all the families present on that day and thank you so much for your positive feedback! 😊 The bulle machine was a huge success for sure! ✨ And some of our little artists left with amazing glasses! 🤩

We hope to see you at Brunswick library on each 4th Monday of the month for the French storytime (10:30am to 11:30am) ❤️

🇫🇷 Cette semaine en France on célébrait Mardi Gras et le Carnaval, alors avec mes étudiants, nous nous sommes déguisés et nous en avons profité pour réviser le vocabulaire des vêtements et en apprendre plus sur cette célébration super amusante ! 🌸

🤓Le carnaval est à l'origine une fête romaine pour célébrer la fin de l'hiver et l'arrivée du printemps. Elle a par la suite été reprise par les chrétiens et mardi gras est le dernier jour avant le jeun du Carême durant lequel on peut manger "gras". On en profite donc pour utiliser les derniers œufs et le lait pour fabriquer de délicieuses pâtisseries et même des crêpes ! Miam !

🇦🇺 This week in France we celebrated Mardi Gras (day before Ash Wednesday) and the carnival, so with my students, we dressed up as per the tradition and we seized the opportunity to revise the vocab of clothes as well as learn more about that super fun celebration! 🌸

🤓 The Carnival originates from romans tradition to celebrate the end of Winter and the coming of Spring. Later, christian people used this celebration to celebrate the very last day before Lent and the fasting period. It is the last day you can eat "gras" (=fat), therefore people needed to use their last eggs and milk and were making delicious pastries and even crepes! Yummy!
