A question for parents…
If repetition builds learning, it’s worth asking: what exactly are we allowing our children to practise thousands of times?
Would you knowingly buy a toy that rewards your child for practising violence thousands of times?
As children painted, they became deeply absorbed in the experience—listening to the sounds of nature, feeling the gentle breeze, and translating what they observed into their artwork. Their creativity flowed freely, resulting in beautiful paintings that they later proudly named, including The wye River, A Television, Seagulls at the Seashore, and A Sunset. Naming their artworks showed confidence, imagination, and a strong sense of ownership over their creations.
This food art experience supported sensory exploration, creativity, problem-solving, and social interaction. The children demonstrated confidence, independence, and joy in their learning, engaging all their senses while experimenting with textures, shapes, and imaginative design. Most importantly, they experienced learning as fun, meaningful, and delicious.

Not goodbye—just see you soon.
Thank you for being part of our journey as we prepare for what’s next.
The children made a variety of cookies, including jam cookies, Nutella cookies, and Christmas tree-shaped cookies. When it came time to decorate, each child expressed their individuality. Every Christmas tree looked different — unique, special, and proudly their own. The children admired one another’s creations, noticing colours, shapes, and decorations, and celebrating the differences in their designs. ❤️
Children confidently expressed their ideas and took pride in creating their own unique snowman designs.(Outcome 1 – Children have a strong sense of identity).
Rolling clay, choosing materials, and problem-solving how to assemble the snowman supported persistence, creativity, and experimentation( Outcome 4 – Children are confident and involved learners)
