It’s time to celebrate our stories, our people, and our cinema on the big screen!

The Inaugural Brazilian Film Festival in Australia is coming!

From October 30th to November 2nd, the best of Brazilian storytelling will light up screens in *Sydney* , *Brisbane*, *Melbourne* , and *Perth* .

For the first time, audiences in all four cities will come together to experience the power of Brazilian cinema simultaneously.

Our mission is to celebrate the diversity and vitality of Brazil’s film industry, bringing to the screen stories that capture the richness of its culture, the creativity of its people, and the spirit that makes Brazilian storytelling unique.

This festival is also about building bridges: strengthening ties between Brazil and Australia, connecting Brazilian communities across the country, and inviting all film lovers to discover, enjoy, and be inspired by the best of cinema made in Brazil.

Welcome! I am the mind behind Portuguese Language Online, the love of speaking Portuguese language and culture of my country has motivated me to teach others.

I am Gabriela, a Portuguese teacher for nearly 20 years. I understand students don't learn Portuguese when they understand the grammar, but when they develop a cultural identity with Portuguese and the environment where they can use the language, whether with the family, through hobbies such as sports, music and an interest in literature and films.

That was what motivated me the most, being that bridge for people to learn the Portuguese language.

I had challenging moments when teaching. One of them was looking for a physical space for group classes in our city. This was overcome by being connected here on the internet. We reach more people and it's really possible to learn to speak Portuguese and interact with audio visual materials online.

I provide a relaxed learning experience and more than learning dialogues, come with me to immerse yourself in the Portuguese language, Brazilian culture and expand your knowledge.
