Simon did something extraordinary yesterday, and this comes straight from the heart.

Something magical happens when you put on a race bib. That gap between what might be possible and what is possible suddenly shrinks. The pain that felt unbearable in training somehow becomes bearable. Maybe it’s the energy, the atmosphere, the stories behind every runner.

Simon’s achievement came from nothing but hard work, grit, and belief in himself. He was in pain, but he never stopped.

To run alongside you was emotional and such a privilege. Not only did you complete your first 5k race, and as an amputee, but you also took 3 minutes off your PB 🏃‍♂️🔥

In running terms, that’s something not many of us can say. Pure inspiration 👏✨

This weekend, Simon and Sean will be running their very first 5km race at the Nike Melbourne Marathon Festival.

Sean has been by Simon’s side for the past 2.5 years, supporting him through training, setbacks, and wins along the way.

Simon, a below-the-knee amputee, has shown incredible determination and resilience. His journey is proof that progress is progress, and there’s no time limit on achieving your goals.

Together, they’ll be running through the streets of Melbourne, starting near Rod Laver Arena and finishing at the iconic MCG. A huge milestone, and one well-earned.

Well done, Simon and Sean, we’re all behind you 👏👏

In-between the rain we have had on the Mornington Peninsula you can find pockets of sunshine!

John and Shane bundled up for a crisp winter stroll through Moorooduc Quarry Flora and Fauna Reserve, discovering the lookouts, native wildlife, and this unique 67 Acre reserve on the Mornington Peninsula. Even in these cooler months, the reserve’s circuit walks and quarry cliffs offer amazing views and outdoor experiences.

Have you explored Moorooduc Reserve?

A first for Inclusive Experiences, we rugged up in our winter woolies and headed off to see our first Ice Hockey game at Obrien Icehouse at the Docklands in Melbourne.
We sat in the stands and watched Melbourne Mustangs vs Perth Thunder. Not a win for Melbourne but it was a great fun day out.
