Some of incursions that we have had so far. This year we have 🤗 Dentist 🦷; SES volunteers and Melbourne museum to visit us at our centre. Children had the opportunities to engage extended learning projects from each of those visits.

Children gained meaning and make real connection thru interactions with the special visits, we are so pleased to see how much they have learnt from those events.

Happy Luna New Year🧧🎆 the children have explored many different cultural rich experiences from the last two days from practise to use chopsticks 🥢 to doing Dragon Dance with friends. Many children came in the centre wearing traditional costumes or dressed in Red today.

🍁🌲🍁 Our Springvale Centre is on full swing capturing the upcoming holiday spirit 🎊 Last week the children spent time discussing their "Foot prints" the open ended topic inspired from building our self identity of who we are? Where we have been? How we feel?

🍁🍁 With educators guidance, Children from all age groups took a walk down memory lane explored some of their favourite holiday experience, memories and feelings. Children used various forms to represent their journeys from using recycled materials to reconstruct the scene or location, to singing and dancing thru songs that represented their feelings, to sharing with the group of their gratitude to how lucky we are, enjoying the things we have, the love and care that we shared with each other❤️

Today as part of the children's learning program, we made play dough 🥮 moon cake and a Lion 🦁 Dance costume with Educator Lindsay❤️
