Reflecting, learning and growing together โค๏ธ๐ค๐
National Reconciliation Week takes place every year from 27th of May to 3rd of June. As a learning community, we learnt about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, their cultures and histories, and explored the meaning of reconciliation. We reflected on how we can build respectful relationships and show kindness and respect to everyone, because we all have a role to play ๐ ๐ซถ๐ป
A big thank you to Majeda from NexusArts, who shared her culture, traditions, and stories through music, singing, and dance. We loved this interactive experience and gained a deeper appreciation for the richness and diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.

Our Year 5/6 students headed to Shore Reserve to launch the rockets they have been designing, testing and improving over the past two terms as part of STEM. It was fantastic to see their hard work take flight as they aimed to go higher and further than ever before!
Making the most of the last of the sunny weather, the results were out of this world!!
๐ Gratitude Lesson โ Whatโs in Your Bag? ๐
This week, 2NA continued exploring the power of gratitude through our โWhatโs in Your Bag?โ activity. Students deepened their understanding that while we can be thankful for the things we have, itโs often the people, relationships and experiences in our lives that bring the greatest joy and meaning.
Our GEM Chat was proudly led by 2NA leader Elena, who encouraged students to reflect on and share their biggest achievement of the week. Celebrating successes, big or small, helps build confidence, connection and a positive mindset.
Ask your child about their biggest achievement this week and continue those feel-good conversations at home! ๐โจ
