We made cards for the dads and decorated gift bags for you to take home.

We had lots of fun today in Newport celebrating Book Week!
📖🐛🎨
There was painting, playdough, hungry caterpillar picnic toys, dress ups, window scribbles, masks to decorate and just so much to do.
How do I know it was fun? A little boy cried at the end because he didn’t want to go home. What a compliment!

Next week is Book Week!

There will be:
📕dress ups for the kids to play with, try on & wear
📗hungry caterpillar sensory play
📘books to read
📙alphabet included in play
📒book and paper fun like staplers and hole punchers
📕masks to decorate (& wear)
📗paper to make your own book
📘my famous playdough!

We will be promoting books, reading, and literacy the best way… through play!

Tuesday -> Newport Gardens 10am (only 2 spots left)
Wednesday -> Williamstown Library 10:30am

Please book ahead to avoid disappointment (in case of a sell out).
Tuesday is looking like a rainy day so most likely no extra spots will be added.

Today it’s raining in Melbourne. And what’s a perfect thing to do on rainy days with your toddler? The library of course!

Our Art Playgroup made sensory jars again.
It was so busy, and so fun.
There were sequins and glitter absolutely everywhere within about 10 minutes. 😂😂🫣😳🤷🏼‍♀️

Lucky I brang extra jars. Thank you everyone for joining me!

I’ll be back in the library doing it all again on Friday.
And I might bring my vacuum! Hahaha
