World Cup Colouring Activity in Day Care

Today, the children participated in a World Cup-themed colouring activity. They were provided with a picture of the World Cup trophy and encouraged to colour it using a variety of colours. The children enjoyed expressing their creativity while developing their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and concentration. This activity also introduced the children to the excitement of the World Cup and promoted discussions about different countries and sports. They carefully picked up and placed the sticks onto the paper, strengthening their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and concentration. The children explored their creativity by arranging the sticks into different shapes and designs, creating beautiful artworks. This activity encouraged problem-solving, imagination, and confidence as they proudly shared their finished creations with others.

During National Reconciliation Week, the children at our day care participated in a meaningful art activity using colourful handprints. The children explored different colours and created beautiful handprint artwork to celebrate diversity, inclusion, and togetherness. This experience encouraged creativity, self-expression, and conversations about respecting and valuing different cultures and communities across Australia.
