They carefully picked up and placed the sticks onto the paper, strengthening their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and concentration. The children explored their creativity by arranging the sticks into different shapes and designs, creating beautiful artworks. This activity encouraged problem-solving, imagination, and confidence as they proudly shared their finished creations with others.

During National Reconciliation Week, the children at our day care participated in a meaningful art activity using colourful handprints. The children explored different colours and created beautiful handprint artwork to celebrate diversity, inclusion, and togetherness. This experience encouraged creativity, self-expression, and conversations about respecting and valuing different cultures and communities across Australia.
