76 New Species of Snake Just Discovered in Australia. The Snake Man Raymond Hoser has published a three volume monograph in which he discovers and names 76 new species of Australian Blind Snakes. There is no need to panic, they are all non venomous and totally harmless. They do however have a habit of defecating on people.

Ok, yes there is a Taipan paper in here and a couple of our male Taipans here ... we do not bang on about how evil they are, because put simply, they are not.
But this journal's highlight is 5 new lacertid lizard species from Spain and another 12 species of lacertid and gecko lizards from Northwest Africa.
