I Attempt to Solve Problems and Seek Solutions
Being resilient means having a go when things are challenging and not giving up straight away. Students will learn strategies to solve everyday problems independently, think through possible solutions and know when to ask for help if they need it. By showing resilience, we become confident learners who keep trying, even when things are difficult.

๐๐ถ A Symphony of Stories! ๐ถ๐
What a magical Book Day we had on Thursday! โจ Our school was filled with colour, creativity and plenty of bookish fun as we celebrated this yearโs Book Week theme, A Symphony of Stories.
It was wonderful to see our very own sea of red and white as students embraced the Whereโs Wally? theme, alongside so many incredible costumes inspired by favourite books and characters! โค๏ธ๐ค๐
From Wallys hiding around the school to characters coming to life, the day was filled with imagination, laughter and a whole lot of reading magic! ๐โจ
A very special thank you to Ms Gregory for all her hard work in organising such a fun and memorable Book Day for our students. โค๏ธ๐
What a wonderful way to celebrate the stories we love! ๐ถ๐

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our Grade 3 and Grade 5 students in the 2026 NAPLAN results! ๐โจ
Across both year levels, 80% or more of our students achieved Strong or Exceeding results across all areas.๐
These results are a wonderful reflection of the hard work, persistence and growth of our students, together with the dedication and expertise of our teachers.
At St Leonardโs, we strive to create a learning environment where every student is supported to grow, encouraged to challenge themselves and empowered to achieve their best. ๐๐
A huge congratulations to our Grade 3 and Grade 5 students โ we are so proud of your achievements! ๐

I Move Quietly and Safely Around the School
This week, students will continue to practise moving quietly and safely around the school throughout the day. By consistently walking calmly, using quiet voices and following staff directions, students build responsible habits that help create a safe, calm and positive environment for everyone.
