9 星期課程中，小朋友將會：

🎤 用廣東話分享故事、討論同演說

✍️ 創作雙語詩歌、故事同訪問文章

🎨 創作插畫及藝術作品

🃏 設計雙語 DIY 收藏卡

🎲 設計以香港、墨爾本同自己社區為主題嘅 DIY 桌上遊戲

🎙️ 錄製自己嘅聲音作品，透過 QR Code 分享故事

📖 作品有機會收錄於《Voice of Cantopia DIY Student Magazine》

喺 AI 可以生成文字嘅年代，小朋友更需要學習思考、表達、創作，同講述屬於自己嘅故事。AI 取代唔到孩子嘅好奇心、生活經歷同獨特聲音。

📚✨ NEW IN TERM 3: CantoLab – Young Authors & Journalists

A bilingual speaking, writing & storytelling journey for children aged 8–11.

Over 9 weeks, students will:

🎤 Practise speaking Cantonese through storytelling and presentations
✍️ Create bilingual poems, stories and interview articles
🎨 Develop original artwork
🃏 Design DIY bilingual collectible cards
🎲 Create DIY board games inspired by Hong Kong, Melbourne and their own communities
🎙️ Record their voices through QR codes
📖 Contribute work to the Voice of Cantopia DIY Student Magazine

In an age where AI can generate words, children still need to learn how to think, communicate, create and tell their own stories.

最近幾堂課最令人開心嘅畫面之一，就係見到學生們主動排隊，等候同課堂助理 Gisele 一齊朗讀！😊
學生們非常投入，爭住朗讀主題詞彙、實用句子，甚至完整短文。由最初認讀單字，到慢慢有信心咁讀出完整句子同文章，每一步都見證住佢哋嘅進步。
透過持續嘅閱讀練習，學生逐步提升發音、流暢度、理解能力同埋廣東話表達信心。我哋好高興見到學生發現自己原來識讀、識講咁多廣東話！
每讀出一個詞語、一句句子、一篇短文，都係邁向流利廣東話嘅重要一步。🌟

📚✨ Building Confidence One Sentence at a Time ✨📚
One of the highlights of our recent lessons was seeing students eagerly queue up for their turn to read aloud with our classroom assistant, Gisele! 😊
Students were excited to read thematic vocabulary, useful sentences, and even entire passages from their workbook units. What started as reading individual words quickly grew into students confidently tackling full sentences and short texts.
Through regular guided reading practice, students build their pronunciation, fluency, comprehension, and confidence in Cantonese and Traditional Chinese. It is always rewarding to see learners proudly discover how much they can read and understand.
Every word, every sentence, and every passage read aloud is another step forward on their language-learning journey. 🌟

At Cantopia, children (ages 5–12) will:

🎲 Design their own Hong Kong board game
⭐ Create their own HK collectible cards
✍️ Learn Traditional Chinese vocabulary naturally
🗣️ Present their ideas in Cantonese
🎨 Develop creativity, storytelling and design thinking

Every child will take home their own creations and a sense of pride in sharing them!
