Today was an exciting day as we received the green light to reopen our oval for staff and students! Students enjoyed spending time exploring the space and reflecting on how we care for the oval and one another when playing and learning together.

We thank everyone for your patience and we look forward to the many wonderful moments our school community will share in this space!

Welcome to the 2026 Deanside Community Miss Beth!

Miss Beth will be joining our school on Monday June 1 as the classroom
teacher of 5A.

We are excited to welcome Beth to our school community and look forward to the wonderful contributions and connections she will bring to our school community!

There have been some exciting additions to our play spaces out in our school yard!
During your time in the school, you may have noticed some markings along some of our footpaths - Check them out!

It has been great to see students engaging in some active play during recess and lunch breaks!

We’re looking for donations of unwanted LEGO for our STEM program at Deanside Primary School! 🧱✨

Do you have LEGO sitting at home no longer being used? Loose bricks, base plates, mini figures, wheels, doors, windows, or complete/random sets, we would love to give them a new life in the hands of our students.

We are creating a collaborative LEGO space where students can design, build, problem solve and work together creatively during learning time and lunchtime clubs.

If you have any unwanted LEGO in good condition that you would be happy to donate, please drop it off at the school office.

Your generous donations will help inspire creativity, teamwork and imaginative play for our students.

Last week our students in Grade Prep - Four had the awesome opportunity to explore the Sport AFL in an incursion provided by the Western Bulldogs!

It was great to see both students and staff enjoy the sunshine and each others company while working together and using different AFL skills in activities and challenges.

We thank the Western Bulldogs for the opportunity and the care you showed to all of our students.
