What can I say. . . . . Tonight I was able to return to my home away from home (Melbourne) where my zumba journey began. It was amazing to be among the amazing wāhine especially the ones who were a part of when my journey started. This masterclass gave me a reason to return, to farewell the wahine who taught me all that I know in Zumba.
Tonight she allowed me to share a piece of me & my culture with the participants of Melbourne. It was moment filled with strong emotions I was fighting back tears. It's amazing to bring my two homes together.
The best part is sharing the stage with this Zumba community, is there is NO JUDGMENTS, anything goes and you can be YOURSELF!!!
I was able to express me & my identity through my passion of Zumba while being uplifted by my girls.
