The Indigenous Data Network (IDN) helps Indigenous communities manage their data for community needs. By increasing communities’ control and understanding of in their own data, the network empowers them to make informed decisions about their own self-determination.

The IDN is bringing together community, university, government, non-government and private sector partners to address a range of shared concerns related to:


  • data collection, management, discovery, access;

  • training and capability development;
