Ways to improve your immune system.

Drink clean water often.
We run on water, every function in our body needs it. When we are dehydrated our body is weak and susceptible to infection.

Eat organic food.
Our bodies see the toxins and chemicals in non-organic food as invaders and will use energy to try to fight them off. When those inner warriors, that are trying to keep you healthy, are busy fighting off chemicals they don't have as much power to fight off a virus if it makes its way in.
Yes it's expensive but so are doctors bills. Food is one of the most powerful medicines we have. If you don't want to go full organic yet get an organic greens powder and drink it first thing in the morning.

Breathe through your nose.
It is our inbuilt mask. It filters the s**t from the air. Nasal breathing releases chemicals in our body that help us fight infection.

Use stress to your advantage.
Stimulating our stress response, through things like specific breathwork, cold showers/bath, exercise etc, triggers our bodies inner warriors. It mobilizes our internal defence system. A few rounds of forceful breathing with retention, as I've shared videos on previously, are enough to kick-start this inner defence.

Move your body.
Your body needs movement to help move your energy, think blood, plasma, electrical signals etc. Stagnant energy creates toxicity in the body. It doesn't have to be a full on workout, walking is great!

Get good sleep.
Take your sleep seriously. It is where your body repairs.

Minimise your consumption of media.
The fear mongering, negativity that is being spread does not improve our health.

Hug your loved ones.
We are tribal animals. We need connection, we need physical touch and love. Loneliness is so damaging to our health. In my opinion the reward far out ways the risk.

The "health advice" given by our government is a joke.

Staying away from each other and wearing a mask is, in my opinion, fu***ng lazy leadership.

A vaccine isn't going to save us from poor health.

I'm not saying don't take it, that is completely up to you.

But without a focus on these pivotal areas of health, I believe it is useless.

Does it matter?

This is something I ask myself often.

When I'm feeling stressed out about a situation.

When I feel anger/frustration towards someone or something.

When I get caught up in being Mr serious frowny pants who gets s**t done.

Does it matter?

For me it acts as a circuit breaker to take another look at whatever experience I'm having.

Does it really matter that that person just cut me off in traffic?

Does it really matter that I took offence to a string of words someone put together?

Does it really matter that I made a mistake?

I can get so caught up in taking this whole experience so seriously that I forget I prefer to view this life as a giant playground.

Maybe these things do matter to you and that's fine!

For me they don't and since living this way life has got a buttload better.

Next time you get caught in the seriousness of life ask yourself,

Does it matter?

Having an explorers mindset.

This has been such a powerful tool for my journey towards self discovery.

I have found that with so much information available I can get caught up in reading/watching a topic without actually doing something with that knowledge.

Developing an explorers mindset and seeing what works for my unique body-mind, by testing and experimenting with the things I learn, has taught me so much and showed me that everyone of us are unique and what works for some won't necessarily work for others.

Things like the foods I eat and when and how that affects my day to day, what sort of physical training makes my life better, trying different meditation techniques to see what I enjoy and will continue to do, practicing ways of connecting to my higher self before I put them in the poo-poo bucket.

This life has so much to offer when we let go of the dogma that keeps our perception limited.

So where could you explore a bit more?

Finding your practice.

It will look different to everyone else and it will change as you do.

Some people love the stretches, poses, asanas.

Others like to devote their thoughts and prayers to a personified version of the life energy that flows through everything.

I personally love the breathwork and meditation.

The point is your yoga doesn't have to look like what you see on Instagram.

It will be as unique as you are.

When we follow our joy life gets so damn sweet.

Try different things with an open mind until you find what makes you feel good and do the s**t out of it.

What I'm trying to do on this platform is give you some options to explore on your own, so you can find your way of connecting to your higher self.

I'd love to know what your practice looks like if you feel like sharing!

Love you xx
