In Australia, miscarriage impacts over 100,000 couples each year. Dedicated funding to improve support for people who experience miscarriage is a great step towards change.

Well done to everyone involved in lobbying for improved support for those affected by miscarriage, including our co-lead, Jade, who is also a co-founder for the Early Pregnancy Loss Coalition.

EPLC welcomes Australia’s first ever dedicated, federal miscarriage funding — Early Pregnancy Loss Coalition The Early Pregnancy Loss Coalition (EPLC) welcomes the Federal Government’s budget pledge of $7 million over four years for miscarriage educational resources and frontline support services, which will benefit up to 150,000 families affected by miscarriage each year.

When checking in with how your loved ones feel and whether they need support, your choice of words and the help you offer matters.
