Long weekends are for BIG FUN and even BIGGER creativity!

As always, we had an absolutely wonderful time bringing our pop-up joy to Casey Central, and the energy from everyone who stopped by was pure magic!

Our engineering masterpieces reached new heights with the colorful magnetic tile castle and that truly AMAZING block tower!
And seeing all the beautiful, unique 'I Love You to Pieces' heart collages come to life was so inspiring! So much little artistic vision and architectural ingenuity on display!

Seeing all these happy families and incredible children exploring and smiling together makes these community moments truly special for us.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who made our long weekend so vibrant and filled with shared joy! We can't wait for the next play adventure!

King’s Birthday Public Holiday Reminder

A friendly reminder to all our families that Kool Kidz Childcare Cranbourne North will be closed on Monday, 8th June for the King’s Birthday public holiday.

We hope you enjoy a wonderful long weekend with your family and loved ones, creating special memories together. 💙

Our centre will reopen as usual on Tuesday, 9th June.

More than just a meal... it’s a learning journey!

Healthy bodies lead to curious minds! We are so lucky to have Megha, our centre chef who is recognised by the Healthy Eating Advisory Service leading the way in our kitchen.
Her passion for nutrition and creative approach to cooking ensures that every child at our service enjoys meals that are as delicious as they are healthy.

As part of our commitment to Intentional Teaching, Megha facilitates hands-on cooking incursions that turn meal prep into a sensory science and math lesson for the kids. Our little learners get to explore fresh ingredients and develop lifelong healthy habits.

Our learning environment is currently filled with purposeful invitations designed to spark curiosity and independent exploration. By thoughtfully arranging resources into dedicated discovery areas, we provide children with the space to lead their own play and dive deep into their interests.

Happy Mother’s Day: A Celebration of Our Special People!

What a beautiful afternoon it was at our service today. Our garden was filled with laughter, light, and plenty of pink as we celebrated Mother’s Day and the "Special Persons" in our children's lives.

From creative hands to sweet treats, here is a look at how we spent our afternoon:

Creative Hearts & Hands
The children poured so much love into their handmade gifts this week. Our "I Love You to Pieces" sun-catchers and paper heart mosaics were a hit, using a vibrant mix of buttons, tissue paper, and cupcake liners to create unique textures. We also set up an outdoor atelier where the children designed handprint flower bouquets—a forever keepsake of how small those hands are right now!

Homemade Truffles & Beaded Treasures
Our little chefs were busy in the "kitchen" preparing delicious truffles, carefully packaged in colorful cones for their special guests. To add a personal touch, the children also designed custom beaded jewelry at our outdoor station, selecting each bead with care to create one-of-the-kind patterns.

Afternoon Tea Under the Disco Balls
The highlight of the day was our outdoor afternoon tea. Under the sparkle of disco balls and pink paper fans, our guests enjoyed a moment of connection in the garden. It was wonderful to see the children so proud to host their loved ones in their learning environment, sharing stories and treats at our pink-ribbon tables.

A big thank you to all the mothers, grandmothers, and special people who joined us today. We hope these small tokens of love make your weekend extra bright!

A little flower, made with love 💐

Today at Casey Central, our Kool Kidz Cranbourne North Paper Flower Shop was filled with colour, creativity and beautiful moments of connection.

Children were invited to choose their own paper flower, colour it in, and have it wrapped with brown paper and ribbon — ready to gift to their mum, grandma, carer, or someone special in their life.

It was such a simple little experience, but one filled with thoughtfulness, pride and love. We loved seeing the children carefully create something meaningful with their own hands, and the joy on families’ faces as they received their special handmade flowers. 💛

Thank you to all the families who stopped by, joined in, chatted with us and helped make the day so special. We are so grateful to be part of such a warm and growing local community.
