Our garden has been thriving, and we had a wonderful harvest of fresh herbs! The children were excited to collect them and share them with our families to take home and enjoy. 💚

🚦 Road Safety with ThingleToodle!

Our 4-Year-Old Kinder children had a fantastic time joining the ThingleToodle Road Safety Incursion as part of our Road Safety Education Inquiry.

They explored how to cross roads safely, why seatbelts are important, and the 145 cm height guide for car restraints — building confidence to help keep themselves safe. 🚗💛

Tiny milestones deserve celebrating!

Guardian Baby Circle is our free four-week program for babies under one and their grown-ups, where every family receives their very own Baby Circle Passport to capture the journey.

Collect a stamp at each session as you and your baby enjoy another week of songs, stories, play and connection. Complete all four sessions to receive a complimentary settling day at Guardian and take home a special keepsake to remember your Baby Circle experience.

Today’s menu was a winner!

Our children enjoyed a delicious slow-simmered beef bolognese in a rich tomato sauce for lunch, followed by refreshing pear & yoghurt cups with crunchy oat crumble for afternoon tea.

Happy tummies = happy learners!

Our Kinder children enjoyed an exciting trip to Box Hill Library as part of our A Flying Start to School Program and Road Safety Inquiry Project.

Travelling by train gave children the opportunity to practise being safe and responsible users of public transport, while storytime and book borrowing at the library helped foster a love of reading and early literacy skills.

What a wonderful day of learning in our community!

A Flying Start to School in Action

Our Kindergarten children loved visiting Blackburn Primary School’s garden. They explored what the school students have been growing, collected seeds, and learned from the teacher about caring for plants.

Experiences like these help children build confidence, connect with their local school community, and support a positive transition to school.

🌱 From Garden to Plate 🥕

Our kinder children have been busy caring for our capsicum and cauliflower plants—watering them, checking on their growth, and watching them change every day

This week, we celebrated a very special moment… our first harvest! The children were so proud to pick their very own cauliflower and capsicum.

To make it even more meaningful, they worked together to cook delicious roasted vegetables using what they had grown themselves.

Such a beautiful way to learn about nature, healthy eating, and where our food comes from.
