Our painting students at Genesis International College had the opportunity to engage directly with experts from the DuluxGroup Training Academy during a special campus visit.

From learning about the latest trends like eco-friendly paints and spray painting techniques & its growing demand, to asking questions directly to industry professionals. It was a really valuable session for everyone involved.

Last week focused on floor installation, and this week our students stepped it up by constructing and erecting wall frames while applying industry standards, safety practices, and precise planning every step of the way.

From interpreting plans and selecting materials, to assembling, aligning, and bracing frames. This is hands-on learning at its best.

We’re excited to share that Team Genesis is taking part in the 2026 MS Walk Run + Roll – Melbourne, on Sunday, 31 May 2026, at Palms Lawn, Albert Park!
The MS Walk Run + Roll is a welcoming, all-abilities event where people walk, run, or roll to support Australians living with multiple sclerosis, raising vital funds and awareness for services that make a real difference. Whether you’re out for a brisk 5 km, a scenic 10 km or the new half-marathon option, there’s a way for everyone to join in.

This event is about big hearts more than big distances, and it’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a beautiful autumn morning around Albert Park Lake while contributing to a cause that matters. Sign up on your own, bring friends or family, or even your dog, and help us step up for this community-spirited challenge.
