Please like this page!!

Co-founded by own of our very own RMH surgical registrars, Dr Kai Wen Leong, The Leukaemia Foundation - Thornbury branch is the ONLY Victorian Leukaemia Foundation branch.

This means it is the ONLY foundation supporting Victorians with blood cancer. We’d love for you to support this initiative and like and share the page 💜

By the end of today, another 50 Australians will be told they have blood cancer.

For us at Victoria’s first Leukaemia Foundation branch, this is very personal.

Our co-founder, Dr Kai Wen Leong was just two years of age when she was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.

Thankfully, after several rounds of treatment and 18 years in remission, she finally received the all-clear. Since then, she has dedicated her life to care for others as a doctor at The Royal Melbourne Hospital.

A donation from you to our branch will help transform fear into hope – in incredible ways, by furthering the life-saving work of cancer researchers and ensuring someone will be there for families through every scary, uncertain moment that follows a diagnosis.

So please, donate today via http://my.leukaemiafoundation.org.au/leukaemiafoundationthornbury and help Victorians like Dr Kai grow up to realise their dreams.
