This is Nathan! What would we do without Nathan?

He is our right-hand man. Not only is he our amazing Year 5/6 tutor, but he is also someone our entire team can turn to for support, guidance, and a helping hand whenever it is needed.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻?
Almost 20 years! I've had the opportunity to work with students from primary through to secondary school, across teaching, gifted education, technology, and curriculum leadership.

𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻'𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁:

I've spent my career looking for ways to make learning more engaging, creative, and meaningful. What I love about Homeschool Academy is the freedom to recognise that every child is different. We can find what makes a student tick, build on their strengths, and help them develop confidence in themselves as learners.

Meet Nikki!

Nikki is our year 1/2 tutor, and the kids just adore her!

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗜’𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 10 years P-12 in Melbourne. I was in the classroom for 7 years before moving to the online world and loved working with P-6 students. My favourite was P-2 because they are so curious and playful about everything in life.

𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻’𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁:
After my family, the first thing would be travelling. One of my key values in life is freedom, so I find that whenever I’m on a plane going to a new destination or one I have been to previously, this feeling is unlocked. Plus, I love nothing more than exploring different cultures and eating my way around the world.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴?
It comes back to freedom again, freedom for parents and children to take back the control of education. We, as tutors, support their journey. I love seeing how the students thrive and develop their confidence when they are in the comfort of their own home.

Our Vision:

Our vision is to support as many children and families as possible and help create a brighter future for children who need another way.

We want to reach children before years of struggle become years of believing there is something wrong with them.

We want to help break the cycle of children disengaging from education, losing confidence and suffering for far too long before meaningful support arrives.

Our vision is for Homeschool Academy to become a pillar of support and early intervention for families.

A place where children are seen.

A place where they are heard.

A place where their confidence can be rebuilt.

A place where learning becomes possible again.

We want to stand beside parents who have decided to take greater control of their child's education and give them the support, community and resources they need to do it confidently.

But ultimately, our vision reaches far beyond a child's school years.

We want to help raise a generation of healthy, strong, confident and motivated adults who understand their worth, recognise their strengths and are equipped for the real world.

Because the child who is struggling today is tomorrow's adult.

If we can reach them earlier, believe in them sooner and give them the right environment to grow, we have an opportunity to change the direction of their future.

Our Semester 2 Timetables - Year 1 to Year 10!

We support the four core learning areas:
📝 English
🔢 Maths
🔬 Science
🌏 Humanities & HASS

But we’ve taken it a step further! Instead of locking you into an entire learning area, we’ve broken our programs down into specific topics and skill sets, giving you even more flexibility to choose the support that actually suits your child.

Only need help with writing in English? Choose writing!

We don't believe you should have to purchase an entire subject or commit to 12 months of learning when your child may only need support in one particular area.

This platform is designed around YOU and your child.
There’s no need to buy everything. There’s no pressure to commit to a full year.
