Monday morning, we started the week with a very special Father’s Day Breakfast, celebrating and honouring the wonderful fathers, grandfathers, uncles and special people in our children’s lives.

The children loved showing their dads around their learning spaces and sharing a special morning together. They enjoyed morning tea, simple activities and, most importantly, the opportunity to spend quality time together.

To make the morning even more meaningful, the children proudly presented their dads with a specially handcrafted gift they had made just for them.

Today we celebrate all the dads, grandfathers, stepdads, uncles, and fatherly figures who play such a special role in each and every one of our children’s lives.

Thank you for the love, guidance, encouragement, and endless support you give. For the little moments that become lifelong memories, the comforting hugs, the silly laughs, the bedtime stories, and for always being there when your little ones need you most.

The impact you have on your children is something truly special, and we hope today reminds you just how loved, appreciated and important you are. 💙

🌿 Happy Educators Day from Eunoia Education! 🌿

Today, we celebrate Educators Day across all of our services — a special opportunity to recognise the incredible people who make Eunoia what it is.

We started with our Berwick service and have since grown to include Dandenong North and Ferntree Gully, and we couldn’t be more proud of how far we have come.

To all of our educators, thank you for your ongoing effort, compassion, care and dedication. Thank you for the meaningful relationships you build with our children, families and each other, and for the positive impact you make every single day.

Our journey and growth would not have been possible without each and every one of you. ❤️

❤️ Red Nose Day at Eunoia! ❤️

Last Thursday, Eunoia took part in Red Nose Day, raising money to support Red Nose Australia and their work to prevent sudden infant death and support families affected by the loss of a baby or child.

We encouraged everyone to dress in red and show their support throughout the day! ❤️

The children also enjoyed taking part in a range of Red Nose Day-themed activities, creating opportunities for learning, creativity and conversations around this important cause.

This week, across all of our Eunoia services, we celebrated Book Week! 📖✨

Our children took part in a range of fun activities celebrating some of their favourite books and characters. Each centre also hosted a Book Week Parade, giving our children and educators the opportunity to show off their amazing costumes! 🦸‍♀️🧚‍♂️🐻

Book Week encourages children to develop a love of reading and storytelling while supporting their language, communication, imagination, creativity and confidence. It also provides opportunities for children to share their favourite stories and connect with others through a love of books. ❤️

Science Week at Berwick Eunoia 🔬🧪

During Science Week at Eunoia Berwick, the children engaged in a variety of exciting experiments, testing their knowledge, making predictions and exploring how and why things happen.

Through hands-on experiences, the children developed skills such as:

🌿 Bush Kinder Adventures! 🌿

During the week, both our 3-Year-Old and 4-Year-Old Kinder Rooms headed out to Bush Kinder!

Our children are right in the swing of things, confidently staying in their lines, walking alongside their friends and exploring the natural environment around them. 🌳

During our walk, the children and educators discovered a variety of natural resources, including flowers, pine cones, bark and leaves. These discoveries sparked wonderful conversations about the different parts of plants and the changes we can see happening in nature. 🍂🌼

The children had an amazing time exploring, discovering and learning together. Of course, we finished our session with some fun on the playground before making our way back! 💚

Risky Play 🌿

Risky play is an essential part of children’s development. It gives children opportunities to challenge themselves, build confidence, develop problem-solving skills and learn how to assess and manage risk.

Risky play can look like:
-Exploring at heights
-Balancing, jumping and navigating pathways with a risk of falling
-Crashing into things and exploring impact
-Navigating high speeds
-Engaging in rough-and-tumble play with other children

When supported in a safe and appropriate environment, risky play helps children develop resilience, independence, coordination and confidence while learning about their own abilities and limits. ❤️|
