Our close knit group of educators work alongside families to create a community within our centre. Nursery - 12 places
Our Nursery room is a safe, nurturing place for your little one. The first two years of life is a time of rapid growth and development. Our dedicated team of educators provides all the care and support your little one needs to establish a strong foundation for future learning. Educators place an emphasis on building trust and security to encourage the children to gain confidence. This provides the opportunity for them to explore and develop cognitive, language and physical skills
Toddlers - 15 places
This is a time of development, exploration and discovery, as the children gain an increasing sense of self. Children are full of curiosity and are keen to develop their independence, yet they still need a strong, secure base to operate from. We place a strong emphasis on encouraging a sense of agency, as they participate in an enriched curriculum that fosters their language, literacy, music, movement and creativity.
3 Year Old Kinder -20 places
At Samantha’s Camberwell, our 3-year-old Kinder places a heavy focus of your child’s sense of autonomy, independence and confidence, as they make the leap from toddler to child. We guide them to discover their own self identities and their sense of belonging in the world. Educators incorporate a range of experiences that facilitate early literacy, numeracy and STEM to support them in their Kinder journey. We aim to equip your children with the social and emotional skills needed to flourish with their academic learning in the years to come. While we aim to deliver a program that intentionally support children’s developmental milestones we also believe that through self-guided play, inquiry, exploration, discussion and investigation, children can develop their own authentic selves.
4 Year Old Kinder - 15 places
At Samantha’s Camberwell, this final stage of their foundational years and preparation for school, 4-6 year olds can benefit greatly from a kindergarten program. Our focus is to make sure children are equipped to confidently handle the transition into school, while also setting the stage for what will hopefully be a successful lifelong path of continued learning. Our curriculums are designed to inspire continual knowledge, growth and creative pursuits, focusing on numeracy, literacy, science, creative art and socialisation. Our 4 year Kindergarten program is delivered by an Early Childhood Teacher with a funded 4 year old Kindergarten available 5 days per week.
