The first day of winter is here!
As the cooler months settle in, a gentle reminder if your child is just not themselves, or is unwell it's best to have a day at home.
Resting up helps them recover faster and keeps our whole community healthy and well.

Our Winter Menu has started!

As the cooler weather settles in, we are excited to be sharing some warm and comforting favourites from our winter menu with you. Two of our popular dishes are our hearty Lamb Ragu with pasta and delicious homemade Banana Bread.

All of our meals are freshly prepared using quality produce supplied by Casa Fresca Produce, helping us provide nutritious and wholesome meals for growing bodies and minds.

We strive to create positive mealtime experiences that bring comfort, connection, and opportunities for children to explore a variety of flavours and foods throughout the seasons.

Our caterpillar journey has come full circle.

It turns out our caterpillars loved feasting on nasturtium leaves! As part of our learning, we created a cosy habitat and carefully observed how they grew and changed each day.

We noticed a big transformation when the caterpillar became still and began changing shape and colour, forming a chrysalis.

Then came the most exciting moment… one morning we discovered a beautiful butterfly had emerged, ready to explore our garden full of flowers.

What a magical way to witness nature in action.

When a classic children’s story comes to life in our yard!

During our recent learning investigations, our Kinder children became curious about what was eating the outdoor plants. Their excitement grew when they discovered not one, but a couple of very hungry caterpillars… and even a grub!

Over the past two weeks, the children have been closely observing how the caterpillars and grub eat, move, and grow. These hands-on experiences are sparking curiosity, wonder, and a deeper understanding of the natural world around them.

We can’t wait to see what happens next in this little life cycle journey!

Clay offers children a rich sensory experience that supports their overall development in many ways. As they squeeze, roll, and shape, children strengthen their hand muscles needed for writing and everyday tasks.

Clay encourages creativity and imagination, allowing children to express their ideas freely while developing problem-solving skills. The different textures, temperatures, and resistance provide valuable sensory input, helping children to regulate and make sense of the world around them.

Most importantly, clay invites us to slow down, focus, and enjoy the process of creating—building confidence and a sense of achievement along the way.
