At Nido Early School Ascot Vale, we strive to be more than just a childcare service, we aim to be a true support network for both our children and families. 💛

Whether it’s grabbing a coffee and breakfast to-go during morning drop-off or borrowing a parenting book from our family library, we’re always looking for thoughtful ways to support our community.

They say it takes a village to raise a child, and we’re proud to be part of yours. 🥰

A few weeks ago, Our teams from Nido Ascot Vale and Nido Essendon came together for a combined meeting with our wonderful Education and Quality Partner, Tess Marley. Tess led an inspiring session on Inquiry-Based Learning and how this approach is embedded within the Nido Curriculum.
It was a fantastic opportunity for our educators to collaborate, share ideas, and deepen their understanding of how to support children’s natural curiosity through meaningful inquiry. We’re excited to bring these fresh insights into our daily practice!

We can’t thank Tess enough for taking the time out of her travels to host this meeting and inspire our teams with some new pedagogies of practice. 💙

🌸 Grandparents Day 🌸

This week we celebrated Grandparents Day with a lovely afternoon tea and special experiences in our classrooms! 💕

Our grandparents had the chance to spend quality time alongside their grandchildren, exploring the learning environment, joining in on activities, and sharing in the joy of discovery and play.

It was such a beautiful afternoon filled with smiles, laughter, and many memories.

A big thank you to all the grandparents who joined us — your presence made the day truly special! 💖

🪔✨ Celebrating Diwali ✨🪔

This week, our little learners celebrated the beautiful Festival of Lights — Diwali! 💛

We explored the meaning of Diwali, made colorful diyas and rangolis, listened to our educators stories about kindness and light, and shared the joy of togetherness.

It was a wonderful opportunity for our children to learn about culture, creativity, and the importance of spreading love and light to everyone around us.

Wishing all our families a bright and joyful Diwali! 🕯️💛
