🌏 THE KINSHIP PROJECT

Today, on World Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we’re launching a song as part of our Kinship Project with a story very close to home.

Our family is scattered around the world, but our roots lead home to the Pacific.

Inspired by Pacific youth β€” and the reality that our ancestral island village faces rising seas and possible displacement β€” we came together across countries and time zones to write β€˜You, Me and Climate Mobility.’

Climate mobility isn’t simply about moving people.

Our home carries our ancestors, language, culture, identity, stories and belonging.

Today we’re asking for one small favour:

We loved the last Pacific International Women’s Day Event and this one looks like it is going to be amazing as well!

We're honoured to welcome His Excellency Ajay Bhai Amrit as our Special Guest Speaker at the Pacific Business Networks Quarterly Exchange + Activation 2026.

As Fiji High Commissioner to Australia, His Excellency plays an important role in strengthening the relationship between Fiji and Australia while advancing collaboration across diplomacy, trade and regional engagement. With a distinguished career spanning business, media, governance and public service, he brings extensive leadership experience and a deep commitment to entrepreneurship, community development and international partnerships.

His insights will add an important regional perspective to the evening, highlighting the value of leadership, cross-sector collaboration and the opportunities created when government, business and communities work together to strengthen connections across the Pacific.

Whether you're a business owner, entrepreneur, professional, creative or emerging leader, this is an opportunity to connect with like-minded people, gain practical insights and be part of conversations designed with purpose.

πŸ‰πŸŒΊ PROUD SPONSOR ANNOUNCEMENT – DIVERSITY NETWORK AUSTRALIA x VICTORIAN KULAWAI 2026 πŸŒΊπŸ‰

✨ Diversity Network Australia (DNA) is proud to once again sponsor Victorian Kulawai in 2026 β€” beginning with support for Team Fiji Rugby as they head to the Touch Rugby World Cup on the Gold Coast this July! πŸ‡«πŸ‡―πŸŒπŸ”₯

At DNA, we believe that supporting organisations like Victorian Kulawai is one of the most meaningful ways we can invest in Fijian and Pasifika young people here in Victoria and nationally. πŸ’™πŸ’š

🏝️ Victorian Kulawai creates more than sport -
- They create a safe space 🀝
- They strengthen identity 🌺
- They build belonging and connection 🫢
- They inspire shared purpose ⭐
- And they help improve health, wellbeing and opportunity 🌱

These values align deeply with our own mission at Diversity Network Australia β€”

✨ Empowering people, one story and one tribe at a time. ✨

Sport has the power to bring communities together, create future leaders and remind our young people that they are seen, valued and capable of great things. πŸ†πŸŒ

To all the players, coaches, families and supporters travelling to represent Fiji β€” we wish you every success at the tournament. We know you will represent your communities with pride, heart and humility and give it everything you’ve got β€οΈπŸ‰πŸ‡«πŸ‡―

🌴πŸ”₯ Good luck Team Fiji and Victorian Kulawai! We’ll be cheering you on every step of the way!
TOSO VITI! πŸ‡«πŸ‡―πŸ’™πŸ‰ Go Team Fiji!

At Diversity Network Australia, our work has always been grounded in Oceania β€” in our Pacific communities, our people, and our region 🌴

But we also believe Humanity has no borders 🌍✨

So this year, we are extending our support beyond our region to support children in Palestine ❀️

Through UNICEF, we are starting with a contribution to fund:

πŸ’§ Over 100,000 water purification tablets for safe drinking water
πŸ₯œ Over 1,000 sachets of therapeutic paste to treat severe child malnutrition
πŸ’Š And additional funds for essential medicines

We know times are tough for many of people here too 🀍

But every little bit matters πŸ™

This is not about politics or different religions.

This is about kids πŸ’™πŸŒ and we want the children of Palestine to know they are not forgotten and that we care ❀️
