⚽ What a season from our Senior Boys Soccer team!
After an outstanding campaign, the boys finished runners-up in the ACC competition, going down 4–3 in an epic Grand Final against St Patrick's College Ballarat.
The team showed incredible determination, skill and resilience, fighting until the final whistle in a match that showcased the very best of school sport. While the result didn't fall our way, the players can be immensely proud of their efforts and the way they represented St Mary's College throughout the season.
Thank you to our coaches, staff and supporters who backed the team every step of the journey.
Congratulations boys on a remarkable season and a hard-fought ACC Grand Final performance. 💙💛

Our Year 8 Design Technology students have been putting their creativity and problem-solving skills to work by designing and building their own Bluetooth speakers.
From learning about electronics and sound technology to assembling and testing their finished products, students have gained valuable hands-on experience while bringing their ideas to life.
It's wonderful to see innovation, design thinking and practical learning in action at St Mary’s College.

Yesterday, our College community came together for a meaningful and reflective National Reconciliation Week Assembly.
Through prayer, student presentations, music and storytelling, we acknowledged the importance of reconciliation and reflected on this year’s theme, All In. The assembly provided an opportunity for students and staff to deepen their understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and perspectives, while recognising the role we all play in building respectful relationships and a more united future.
We thank the students and staff who contributed so thoughtfully to the assembly and for helping create a powerful moment of reflection for our community.
At St Mary's College, we remain committed to listening, learning and walking together on the journey of reconciliation.

Our Year 12 Food Studies students recently brought their classroom learning to life by planning and preparing a special celebratory lunch for staff and students involved in recent College events, including Edmund Rice Day. 🍽️✨
Through Unit 3 Food Studies, students explore how food brings people together, strengthens relationships, and builds community. The lunch was a wonderful example of gratitude, connection, and the joy that comes from sharing a meal together. 💙

This morning, we were delighted to welcome so many wonderful mums, carers and family members to our Mother’s Day Breakfast at St Mary’s College.
It was a beautiful opportunity to come together as a community, share conversation, laughter and gratitude, and celebrate the incredible women who support and inspire our students every day.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and to the staff and students who helped make the morning so special. The warmth and sense of belonging in Logue Hall truly reflected the spirit of our College community.
Wishing all mothers and mother figures a very happy Mother’s Day this weekend. 💙

Today we came together as a community to celebrate our Edmund Rice Feast Day – and what a day it was.
From a meaningful Liturgy to a high-energy Walkathon, the spirit of the day carried right through every activity. Students and staff embraced the fun with game shows, a colour run, staff v student matches, and a huge range of outdoor attractions – from the dunk tank and rides to the ever-popular petting farm and face painting.
Our talented rock bands and musicians kept the energy high throughout the day, adding a fantastic live soundtrack to the celebrations.
With food stalls galore and plenty of laughter, it truly captured what makes our community so special.
A wonderful celebration of faith, connection and joy. Thank you to everyone who made the day such a success.
