We are delighted to share that the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) has renewed Universal Higher Education (UHE)’s registration for the maximum allowable period of 7 years (granting re-registration through to 2032).

This achievement is more than an administrative milestone – it reflects the collective effort of our staff, our commitment to academic quality, and the trust placed in us by our students and partners.

At UHE, learning, teaching, and the student experience are at the very heart of everything we do. This renewal affirms that dedication and sets the stage for the next chapter of growth and innovation in Melbourne and beyond.

Last month, we were thrilled to welcome back Damian Menzies, CEO of Choice Australia, along with his colleague Merran Brown, as part of our Employment Readiness Programs at UHE. 💼

Together, they delivered an insightful workshop on mastering interviews, equipping our students with practical strategies, insider knowledge, and the confidence to navigate interviews effectively and leave a lasting impression. 💬🌟

During the session, students discussed topics such as:

Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming back Alba from the Migrant Workers Centre, who led an interactive session on work rights in Australia! 💼💬

Students explored types of employment, fair wages, workplace safety, and their rights at work. The session included useful statistics and an open Q&A, giving students the chance to ask questions, share experiences, and gain practical insights. 💡✨

Throwback to Universal 4L’s Social: Lunch, Laughs, Link with Leaders! 🥪✨

Previously known as the Mid-Semester Lunch, this student social has been reimagined to create even greater opportunities for connection. The exciting new twist? Lecturers joined the event, giving students the chance to engage in a more casual, friendly setting.

Students enjoyed delicious lunch, relaxed conversations, and the opportunity to connect with both peers and faculty. It was a unique chance to ask questions, gain insights, network, and build meaningful relationships beyond the classroom. 🤝🌏
