Throughout National Reconciliation Week, our children have been actively engaged in a variety of meaningful learning experiences that support their understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, and perspectives.

Through role play, storytelling, art, music, and group discussions, children have explored themes of connection, belonging, respect, and community.

After reading Somebody’s Land, the children revisited the story through their own lens. As they talked with their friends, they shared their ideas about what the story was about, retelling events in their own words and making meaning together

We support children’s literacy skills by offering many ways to explore letters and writing, whether it’s forming letters, writing their names, or creating shopping lists through play.

World Turtle Day !! Today our kinder children explored all things turtles, and our centre pet Flippy was very excited to say hello. A lovely day of learning, curiosity and care for our animal friends.

This week, road safety looked a little different in every room. Children explored these important concepts through role‑play, creative art experiences that supported fine motor skills, and meaningful group discussions. It was wonderful to see their confidence and understanding grow as they learned how to keep themselves and others safe in our community.

In our Kinder room, children have created a Fire Station where they learn about helping others and keeping our community safe.

Our Nursery and Kinder children came together to work as one team, sharing ideas, creativity and lots of smiles while creating this special bird house. Moments like these build connections, confidence and learning across ages.
