Dear students and members this Friday from 11am-2pm there will be an exciting event for students of any level and degree who are wanting learn about the amazing opportunities on offer with over a 100 companies at Melbourne's biggest internship fair The Big Meet being held at the CrownPalladium.

This is a great opportunity to network and learn about industry as well as companies and roles you may not have considered. Attendance is free and walk ins available. 𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
We are currently recruiting an executive team and general committee members for our SEMESTER 2, 2022 portfolio. We are providing the opportunity to work with students from the school of management and international business at RMIT to plan, organise and execute events to benefit the members socially and/or professionally. We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic people to join the team in 2022, which promises to be a year projective to be full of growth and development for MIBSA.

There are several areas where roles are available, please take note of the requirements and apply for an area which you feel that you would be able to bring most value.
Executive roles are expected to approximate 5-6 hours of time per week with general roles estimating at around 1-2 hours per week. Students of any degree at any level can apply for leadership.

𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲-𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆:
• Work directly along-side president to motivate, lead, and inspire club members
• Dedicated and organised in contribute meetings
• Great communication skills
• Preferable experience: Currently in Bachelor’s degree and above, experience in leadership or management

Events Director:
• Work alongside the General committee
• Lead and inspire Events team
• Contact different venue’s, seek the perfect location to event requirements
• Interested in creating events to engage students
• Preferable experience: Currently in Business, Communications or Creative Bachelor’s degree, experience in leadership

Communications Director:
• Work alongside the General committee
• Lead and inspire Communications team
• Dedicated to promoting the club and increasing Industry (Business) contacts
• Experience drafting emails, reaching out to Industry members
• Ability to regularly become the spokesperson for events and speeches
• Preferable experience: Currently in a Business or Communications degree, experience in leadership

𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲:
• Attend meetings regularly
• Perform tasks assigned by President/VP
• Assist with planning and running club events
• Preferable Experience: Any previous volunteering work is advantageous but not necessary
