The one thing I know for sure is that, to , you have to listen to native English and practise speaking OUT LOUD... every day!
In this video, we look at one way that English changes when people speak and how sounds actually disappear! These changes help people speak more quickly and fluently.
'Reduced sounds' are sounds which get lost - or disappear - in spoken English, e.g. like 'carncha' instead of 'can't you' or 'doncha' instead of 'don't you' . Here the /t/ sound disappears and the /t/ and /j/ sounds together sound more like 'cha'

Frustrated with learning ?
It can be tough for these reasons:
1. there are no clear rules to help you learn them
2. one phrasal verb might have multiple meanings
3. you canโt always work out the meaning from the individual words.
The key to learning them is to learn them in context or in specific situations that you understand from your own life, to write your own sentences using the phrasal verbs and to practise using them straight away!
Check out the phrasal verb playlist on my YouTube channel for more https://www.youtube.com//playlists
