The Liver Meridian is deeply connected to emotional flow, stress, frustration, vision, and the ability to move forward in life with clarity and direction.

When this meridian becomes imbalanced, it can present physically through digestive dysfunction, hormonal imbalance, headaches, fatigue, skin conditions, tightness in the body, inflammation, and difficulty detoxifying both physically and emotionally.

Emotionally and energetically, the Liver Meridian often reflects suppressed anger, resentment, irritability, emotional pressure, control patterns, and feeling stuck or trapped in cycles that no longer support growth.

Within EMK, we explore how the meridian system mirrors the subconscious mind and emotional body, and how specific acupressure points can support release, balance, vitality, flexibility, and energetic movement throughout the system.

This is part of the depth explored inside the Meridian Rivers of Chi Kinesiology Course, where students learn the emotional, physical, spiritual, and metaphysical meaning behind the 14 meridians and 8 extraordinary vessels, alongside powerful balancing techniques and acupressure point work.

When energy begins to flow, the body and emotions often follow.

It was so valuable sharing this conversation with our EMK practitioners inside our quarterly EMK Connect gathering yesterday.

We explored the different healer archetypes and the unconscious patterns that can influence how we hold space, use our energy, relate to clients, trust the body, and show up in session as practitioners.

These kinds of conversations create powerful awareness around practitioner growth, energetic boundaries, confidence, nervous system regulation, and learning to work with the body rather than trying to force outcomes.

One of the biggest reminders from this teaching was:
Our role is not to fix, carry, or force healing.

Our role is to listen, follow, and trust what the body is showing us.

Awareness changes everything.

The Bladder Meridian is one of the body’s longest energetic pathways and is deeply connected to fear, stress patterns, survival energy, and the emotional tension we carry through life.

When the Bladder Meridian becomes imbalanced, it can present physically through back pain, sciatica, tight muscles, headaches, exhaustion, urinary dysfunction, and a constant feeling of tension throughout the body.

Emotionally and energetically, this meridian often reflects hypervigilance, holding on to fear, unresolved emotional pain, emotional exhaustion, and feeling stuck in survival mode for extended periods of time.

Within EMK, we explore how the meridian system stores emotional and subconscious information throughout the body and how acupressure points along the pathway can support clarity, release, vitality, grounding, and energetic movement.

This is part of the depth explored inside the Meridian Rivers of Chi Kinesiology Course, where students learn the emotional, physical, spiritual, and metaphysical meaning behind the 14 meridians and 8 extraordinary meridians, alongside powerful balancing techniques and acupressure point work.

Understanding the meridians changes the way you view the body forever.

I loved joining our EMK Connect online gathering this morning for our seventh quarterly catch-up. A beautiful group of EMK Practitioners came together to share, reflect and support one another in a warm and open space.

Each quarter we explore a different theme and offer time for Q&A, allowing practitioners to connect, express any wins or challenges they may be experiencing, and feel held within community. Today was all about Healer Archetypes.

A heartfelt thank you to Bec and Frances for co-hosting with me today. Your presence and energy brought so much depth to the space.

Our next EMK Connect will be on Thursday, 13 August 2026. The topic will be announced in the EMK Facebook group soon. I am looking forward to gathering again, welcoming those who are able to join us, and inviting some of our newly certified EMK Practitioners into the circle.

Your body is always communicating and the Large Intestine Meridian reveals where you may be holding on instead of letting go.

When this meridian is out of balance, it can show up physically through the skin, digestion, immune system, and respiratory pathways. Emotionally, it often connects to grief, control, judgement, and the struggle to release what no longer serves you.

In EMK, we view the Large Intestine not just as a physical pathway, but as an energetic system linked to release, boundaries, and transformation. When energy becomes stuck, it reflects in both the body and the mind, creating patterns of stagnation, rigidity, or emotional holding.

This is the depth of work explored inside the Meridian Rivers of Chi Kinesiology Course, where you learn how to work with the 14 meridians and 8 extraordinary vessels, understand their emotional and metaphysical meaning, and access powerful acupressure points to support balance at a subconscious level.

When you understand what the body is saying, everything begins to shift.

Step into the flow of the body’s energy systems inside the Meridian Rivers of Chi Kinesiology course – a foundational part of the Emotions and Metaphysical Kinesiology™ study pathway.

This powerful training explores the intricate network of meridians and how Chi moves through the body, influencing physical health, emotional patterns, and energetic balance. Drawing on the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the depth of EMK, you will begin to understand not just where energy flows, but what it means.

Through this course, you will learn to read the body on a deeper level – identifying where energy is held, disrupted, or ready to shift, and how to support that movement with confidence in clinic.

Inside this course you will learn:

• The 14 meridian lines – including location, organ relationships, element, peak times, paired organs, colours, branches, attributes, and function
• Key acupressure points and how to work with them effectively
• Emotional and physical signs of balanced and imbalanced meridians
• How to test and identify meridian imbalances using muscle reflex testing and alarm points
• The Eight Extraordinary Meridians and their deeper energetic role
• A wide range of EMK healing remedies including acupressure, essential oils, crystals, colour, sound, flower essences, affirmations, nutrition, spiritual practices, shamanic tools, Emotional Stress Release (ESR), oracle and healing cards, nature-based remedies, moxibustion, warming tools, and more

This is where your understanding of the body expands – beyond the physical and into the energetic intelligence that underpins it all.

Find a certified Emotions and Metaphysical Kinesiology™ Instructor in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Sweden, the United States, or study online (via application for those outside an instructor zone), and continue your kinesiology journey.

Your body speaks through patterns, symptoms, and sensations and your Spleen Meridian is deeply connected to how you process, receive, and feel supported in life.

When the Spleen Meridian is out of balance, it can show up as fatigue, digestive discomfort, fluid retention, sugar cravings, or a lowered immune response. Emotionally, it often links to overthinking, worry, and that feeling of carrying too much without feeling supported in return.

In EMK, we understand that the body is not just reacting, it is communicating. The Spleen reflects how well you are able to digest life, not just food. When energy becomes stagnant, both the physical and emotional body begin to mirror this.

This is exactly the depth we explore inside the Meridian Rivers of Chi Kinesiology Course. You learn how to work with the 14 meridians and 8 extraordinary vessels, understand the emotional and metaphysical meaning behind each, and use acupressure points to access the subconscious and support true energetic balance.

If you are ready to deepen your understanding of the body and expand your kinesiology practice, this work changes everything.
