"We're Going On A Bear Hunt"


Hi residents of Mill Park, and surrounding streets.

Amidst the current challenging times and lockdowns enforced, no better time to unite and show some community spirit. One initiative that has fast become popular throughout Melbourne is a simple and old fashioned ‘Bear Hunt’ for the children stuck in doors and at home.

Some have started and I know our children thoroughly look forward to it each day!!

With children not being able to attend school and isolated to their homes, a daily walk is something they look forward too.

I invite you to take part is the local Children’s “Bear Hunt” by placing a soft toy in your front window for the children to enjoy on there daily walk that can be turned into a bit of fun or game being “We’re Going On A Bear Hunt”.

I thankyou all and can ensure you that many many children in our area will be so grateful.

A page has been created (Mill Park Teddy Bear Hunt) to add some excitement to this, I will over the course of the coming days place a number of Bears in different locations ie, up tree’s, bus shelters and odd spots to make the ‘Bear Hunt’ some what more exciting and challenging. A Post will be put on the page of the type of bear and a clue to the location it may be. I ask that all and any bears found don’t be touched or removed simply take a photo and post it on the page for others
