THE RAINBOW SERPENT
Rainbows are believed to be the serpent snaking from one watering hole to the next, replenishing waterholes around the country. This is the explanation given as to why some sources of water never dry up even during times of great drought.
It represents the life-giving value of water as well as the cycle of the seasons.
The Rainbow Serpent is considered one of the most powerful and widespread Ancestral Beings of Aboriginal Australia.
Children collected the puzzles we had that could be used to make a Rainbow Serpent.

World ocean day.
We tried to make a very realistic beach today by using the sand and blue water with some story.
THE OCEAN NEEDS HELP
The ocean was dirty and fish was dying due to pollution in the ocean. The ocean tried to push all the garbage out at the beach but that was hard. So children came to the rescue.
They picked up all the trash people had thrown at the beach and made it so clean and beautiful that all the fish came to say a biiiggg thankyou. Happy world ocean day !!!
There are lots of skills that can be developed with weaving activities, including:

String painting or pulled string art is a great way to develop kids' fine motor skills, and strengthen grasp and manual control.
One of the greatest benefits of string art is mental stimulation. Throughout the creative process, you are forced to make decisions. You will encounter hurdles and have no choice but to work through them to achieve your ultimate goal of a completed project
Children practicing Alphabets.
This is our weekly activity we do as children are working on learning to writw their names. Baby Mehtaab just joins all the kids in whatever they do.
There are several known benefits to connector play, just highlighting a few which we noticed for sure:
1. Excellent boost to fine motor skills esp. for the younger kids, as they grasp and attempt to mould and exert pressure to make the connections.
2. Imagination and creativity, allowing to make with their hands whatever their minds imagine and create lovely stories around the objects made. We made a robot, rocket, bike and lot more.
3.Problem-solving, tinkering and experimenting – It gives the child immediate feedback on the work and an opportunity to self-correct with minimal guidance.
4. Building their own versions of different objects and forming structures can be so much fun for children and hearing stories around them has definitely been fun for us too.
Shadow show. So who's shadow is longer... 😆😊😊😊
NATIONAL RECONCILIATION WEEK 2023.
