Last Friday our centre was lucky enough to receive a visit from Senator O’Sullivan who is the Shadow Minister for choice in childcare and early learning and also the Shadow Minister for child protection and the prevention of family violence. Senator O’Sullivan was accompanied by Mr. Tim Wilson MP who is the Shadow Treasurer and member for Goldstein. Our CEO Adam Lai, our Commercial Operations Director Kylie Morris and our quality leader Janet Young were also a part of the tour.
We had the opportunity to showcase our beautiful centre and discuss the importance of quality childcare, the challenges facing educators and families and the vital role that early learning plays in the education of our children, families and our wider community.
It was heart warming to see our visitors engage so honestly and authentically with the children, joining them for morning tea and getting involved in a fun book mark making experience.
The children were excited to become “tour guides” and show our guests around their centre, and even presenting them with a thoughtful painting as a gift from the children at Nido Ormond.
It was wonderful to have the opportunity to share our voice and highlight why “everyday matters” at Nido Ormond.

Where’s Wally? We found him… EVERYWHERE! 🔎
Last week, Nido Ormond celebrated Book Week, and our centre got into the spirit with a fun-filled Where’s Wally hunt! ❤️🤍💙
Our amazing educators joined in the fun and dressed up as Wally too, making it a day full of laughter, excitement and plenty of spotting!

🌱🐝 Our Kindergarten Planting Project Continues! 🌼

After planting our seeds, we’re building on that learning by exploring what happens next! Our kindergarten children have been exploring the life cycles of plants and bees, learning how every tiny seed grows into a plant and how hardworking bees play such an important role in helping flowers bloom and food grow. 🐝💛
