Rebooted in deep rainforest nature this week - I feel so good 🤸🏼♀️.
"In our daily lives, we usually feel pressured to move ahead. We have to hurry. We seldom ask ourselves where it is that we must hurry to.
When you practice walking meditation, you go for a stroll. You have no purpose or direction in space or time. The purpose of walking meditation is walking meditation itself. Going is important, not arriving. Walking meditation is not a means to an end; it is an end. Each step is life; each step is peace and joy. That is why we don’t have to hurry. That is why we slow down. We seem to move forward, but we don’t go anywhere; we are not drawn by a goal. Thus we smile while we are walking."
(A Guide to Walking Meditation by Vietnamese monk Thich Nhat Hanh).

I’m off the grid this week to spend some time hiking among the trees in the beautiful Scenic Rim, Queensland.
Some call it forest bathing 🤷🏼♀️.
Put simply, forest bathing is about spending time among trees.
Numerous studies found that time spent among trees leads to lower cortisol levels, reduced pulse rate, and lower blood pressure- leading to increases in the quality of our sleep, improve our mood and wellbeing, lower blood pressure, decrease anxiety and increase heart-rate variability ( resilience).
So I’m off to forest bathe, fill my own cup & bring back more vitality - for my yoga & wellbeing offerings for the second 1/ 2 of the year . 🤸🏼♀️

Navigating life can be difficult with brain fog.
Does this sound familiar ?
Pandamic hangover ( aka long Covid fatigue )
- career burn out
- the peri menopause hormone roller coaster
…all of these things ( plus the ones you can fill in ) can leave us feeling like the tank is empty & hence life is difficult to navigate with no energy.
I could tell you to jump in an ice bath ( or the Bay ) , that will get get your blood & adrenaline pumping & yes - the research supports it.
However, instead I am going to invite you to move & breathe with me- let me help nurture you .
I design a unique 6 session series with you to help you get your body & mind shifting- to feel better.
The Research shows INTENTIONALLY moving the body , & calming the breath - brings us into the present moment & calms the nervous system - so you feel better. Consistently practicing Yoga can feel like magic, boosting your well-being 🪄
Work with me so I can prescribe sessions to suit you & where you are at right now.
Having a Private session together enables me to address your energy needs , deliver what you need to start being more present & engaged.
6 x 1 hr sessions live in Bayside Melbourne.
Need a dose of something good, please get in touch.

“Tapas” in yoga, is all about the practice- actually doing the firey work to make the changes we desire start to happen.
In Yoga, we know when we move the body - we start to feel better- our own internal natural chemist warehouse gets activated , we see more clearly , are more responsive rather than reactive - or inert, stuck.
The thing is - you won’t experience these changes unless you start the work - tapas. A consistent practice of intentionally moving your body & tuning into your breath is when the magic 🪄 happens.
Come & try for yourself - doing is experiencing the benefits for yourself.
Winter is an easy time to withdraw & cacoon, let me help & motivate you move - book a private series with me & start this wonderful practice.
Yes , please - book me in … see private link in bio .

In yoga we draw on Eastern philosophy to learn more about mind - body wisdom- when you move the body intentionally - in YOGA , it has tremendous benefits on the mind.
Getting out of the head , the talk of “should do”/ future anxiety forming thoughts , start to turn down as the focus becomes the intricacies of moving the body with breath intentionally …now.
Winter is a great time for interoception, tuning in & seeing if you are in tune with what your body & mind need to feel better.
Winter is ruled by the water element- we’ve seen our fair share pouring down lately: it’s the most nourishing and essential substance for life. This philosophy teaches us this element stores much of people’s reserves of energy. That’s why rest is crucial in the winter.
The wisdom of water is to flow. Water moves effortlessly and takes the exact form of whatever contains it. A balanced water element is able to move smoothly through the season with strength, courage, and willpower. There’s a sense of flow and ease, and an alignment to one’s purpose.
There is depth, darkness, and mystery to water. The emotion associated with the water element is fear. In appropriate amounts, fear is essential to survival because it enables us to navigate situations with care and caution. When the water element is out of balance, one can potentially experience excess fear and lack of courage.
My message to you is don’t get stuck this winter cacooning on your sofa. Water needs to keep moving , flowing through you to help energise your body & mind.
Need some help ? Why not book a private , I come to you , or you to me . Otherwise , come & bask in the light of group energy for 9 am Fridays - I’d love to guide you .

Did you know that the idea multitasking improves output and fullness of life is a modern myth.
Multi tasking impairs performance, reduces enjoyment and empathy, and increases stress.
When I talk mindfulness, it’s not all about sitting on the cushion meditating - I like to bring mindfulness into your everyday too.
Try noticing the difference in doing things one thing at a time, one after the other - rather than all at once juggling 🤹♀️ , if that’s your normal go to . For example, talk to your friend, colleagues, family , give them your full attention - put down the phone or stop emailing at the same time ( if that’s what you do when they can’t see you . I know I’ve been guilty of that one ).
Try it - one thing at a time, notice the difference in how you feel, perhaps less wired , & more productive.
Like help with integrating mind body wellbeing habits into your life, book in for a series of privates , my “mindset & movement reset” to start feeling better now may be just what you need this winter .

I find it’s the “little things”that make all the difference. My friend calls them the 1%ers .
I often find when people come to me for my “mindset - movement reset” private program , their mindset is around BIG changes in lifestyle and their exercise practice in search of results.
But after years of coaching people I find the small things, are most likely to bring about the biggest changes to make you feel good and improve your life.
Why ? It’s Much, much easier to commit to the consistency of repeating a new habit , or movement program if you ease into it & are guided over a few weeks - no shock to the body. Your new exercise - yoga asana practice is going to get better & we work together on a mindset reset to work towards crystallising your lifestyle goals. I help you discover your unique values & strengths to help you work towards the results you want .
Slowing down to do the inner work as we move tension in the body has an amazing ripple effect that begins to spread into your life- calmer , feeling more in control , less anxious .
Neuroscience is now providing the evidence YOGA & mindfulness has on our brain’s 🧠 neuroplasticity to improve our wellbeing. This multi dimensional approach of my Mindset & body reset program helps you with tools to improve anxiety, change habits - make you feel better. 🌸
With us in the “letting go” phase of Autumn , clearing space to focus more on what we want , please reach out if you’d like to know more about this 6 week bespoke program.

Yoga bookings open for FRIDAY
As we move into late Autumn you may notice the denser air makes you feel a little heavy. Autumn in Eastern philosophy is a time for clearing out , eliminating what you no longer require ( possessions , limiting thoughts , frenemies perhaps ) , to create space & vision for our future.
Physically it’s a time to look after your lungs 🫁, a nice scarf helps keep you warm & a few great twists fused with some energising yoga can lighten your energy & your spirit.✨
This term YOGA is on Friday mornings for 9 am start , it’s a mixed level slow Vinyassa class ( meaning it’s dynamic). If you’ve been thinking about coming along , I’d love to guide you .
It’s in the light & airy Elsternwick Park Tennis Centre Studio . Bookings essential $25 , please contact me at

What does the idea of time bring up for you? Juggling many responsibilities perhaps, rushing - multi tasking and somehow trying to find time for you ?
I see many clients feeling pushed & pulled in all directions & struggling to devote time to themselves, their health - for some active self care to boost their vitality.
YOGA is a perfect practice to help you find that sweet spot, letting go of the “should” dos and spending time holistically nurturing yourself - creating space and rejuvenating your energy in your muscles and your mind.
Autumn is a time where we become more introspective, the cooler weather bringing us indoors- a time of organising our houses, putting away the summer clothes. In Eastern philosophy it is a time that calls for organising your mind too, setting limits and protecting boundaries. When you come to my YOGA class we work on noticing the body its signals of stress (overdoing it) and learning simple breath work tools to self regulate your stress response and nurture yourself.
TERM 3 is Now on at Elsternwick tennis club studio , for 9 am start. I’d love to share these tools with you and lead you through some mindful movement to boost your energy. Consistency is key, book in for the term and watch how the magic of this practice really works!
~ Fridays for 9am~
in the lovely light & airy Elsternwick Park Tennis Centre Studio.

Baby crow is a sweet little posture. Looks quite minimal, but actually there’s a lot going on - it is a strong posture firing up all your muscles ( 🔥core plus) & requires the see-saw skull of balance .
Best of all … my favourite reason to do this (& YOGA) - is it pulls your attention right into that very moment- after all, it’s a balancing act (much like life )& when we let our thoughts stray .. we can become a little wonky.
Want to try something new, get into YOGA with me . We slow flow through the foundation postures & play with some balance to keep your mind on 🎯… & best of all it feels good.
I have just a few private spots open for Term 2 & classes back on FRIDAYS after Easter at 9 am Bayside 29 th April Melbourne @ Elsternwick Park Tennis Centre .
I limit classes to max 12 , so if you’d like to join please get in touch- I’d love to guide you .

Is your back a real pain??
The beauty of 1 on 1 private YOGA sessions, is I can create a session to give you exactly what you need.
Back care is a real issue for many people & although you may know a great stretch would be good for you - often it’s hard to know which ones, how to start , what props would help & get to motivated to do it on your own. I can help with all of these things.
I’ve been helping more clients with back care recently .. I think it’s a carry over from months of working from home … sitting in front of a computer in odd posture habits - perhaps creating misalignments.
What I do know is the feedback from my client 1 on 1 sessions have been 💯percent positive & they keep coming back to learn more so we can create a self care home practice for them to keep boosting their wellbeing.
Feel this might help you , live near Bayside Brighton Melbourne , please get in touch & we can get started on a 3 session pack … easing the pain to live life & love it .
I’d love to hear from you via email
