🐑𝐐𝐮𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 | 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐬

Alhamdulillah, your Qurbani orders have been allocated across 𝟏𝟐+ 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬. Because Eid is on different days globally — some communities celebrating Wednesday, some Thursday — and with sacrifices being spread over the 3 days of Tashreeq, it becomes difficult to notify each donor the exact moment their Qurbani is completed.

𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬 & 𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫:
After consulting senior Ulama, we share this guidance:
1. Refraining from cutting nails/hair before Qurbani is 𝑚𝑢𝑠𝑡𝑎ℎ𝑎𝑏 (recommended), not 𝑤𝑎𝑗𝑖𝑏 (compulsory). It’s a relaxed ruling.
2. The Prophet ﷺ said: “𝑈𝑛𝑡𝑖𝑙 ℎ𝑒 𝑠𝑎𝑐𝑟𝑖𝑓𝑖𝑐𝑒𝑠 ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑖𝑚𝑎𝑙.” The sacrifice is normally done after Eid Salah. Therefore, if your Qurbani is overseas and you don’t know the exact time of slaughter, 𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐢𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐡, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫. Your Eid takes the place of the slaughter timing.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭:
- We will wait for confirmation from all countries.
- Once all Qurbanis are complete, we’ll release a common statement confirming that every donor’s animal has been slaughtered with full care and amanah.
- Footage and reports will be uploaded in the coming week, inshaAllah.
- Cut off date for paying for a Qurban will be Thursday Maghrib time.

Be assured that your Qurbani will be fulfilled in the best manner, following Sunnah and with complete trust.
