I have worked in over 15 different schools, both public and private, ranging from preschool to Year 9 and have acquired a wide range of skills and strategies in order to fully assist my students throughout their academic career and build self-confidence. Working not only in schools as an aide but also in the field of respite care and severe disabilities, my passion and knowledge in educating students is vast and varied. Coaching every student in a different manner and catering to their specific needs, is a skill I pride myself on and what I find gets the best results. Children are growing at a rapid rate and have more to deal with in this fast paced world. Supporting and mentoring them to learn and discover their strengths is what I’m most passionate about. Growth Tutoring teaches and encourages resilience and perseverance to face the challenges met throughout their school life and beyond. Firstly building a rapport with the child and assessing their needs, and secondly, implementing time management skills and strategies that will help build their confidence, gain self –esteem and succeed in reaching their desired goals. I cover the following:
- Homework and project help
- Reading recovery
- Speech and Articulation
- Literacy and numeracy
-Note taking and Essay writing

It’s hard to believe that Growth Tutoring has been dedicated to supporting students and families for nine wonderful years not only in tutoring but also supporting Ndis participants to accomplish their goals and learn much-needed life skills, as well as offering respite to families in need.
