Over the last two days our leadership team has been offsite attending the Principal Conference. While it is always difficult stepping away from school, the time away has provided an invaluable opportunity to reflect, learn and reconnect with the vision and direction we are taking as a school community.
The time away has reminded us just how fortunate we are to have such dedicated staff, incredible students and supportive families. The culture of our school community is something truly special and not something we ever take for granted.
We look forward to bringing back new ideas, reflections and energy as we continue working together to provide the very best for our students.

Yesterday our staff came together for professional learning focused on student voice and agency, with team members sharing the incredible ways they are beginning to embed these practices in their classrooms.
It was inspiring to hear the different approaches, ideas, and reflections across the school. While we are still early in this journey, it is exciting to see a shared commitment toward the same goal: creating empowered, curious learners who have ownership over their learning.

As part of their Inquiry unit, our J1 community stepped back in time to experience a day at school in 1926! From old-fashioned lessons to life without modern technology, students embraced the past with curiosity and enthusiasm.

Our Year 1 students had a delicious time making fairy bread as part of their procedure writing unit. They loved following each step carefully before creating their own procedures. Learning has never tasted so good!
