We quilters love a de-STASH and the members of Seabreeze Quilters have been cleaning out their sewing rooms so they can re-home gorgeous fabrics and other sewing/craft related goodies! We think it's a community service, of sorts!! 😉 We also like to add value to the day - so it's free entry to the de-STASH, free Sit 'n Sew (hand sewing and stay as long as you like) and only $10 if you would like a scrumptious morning or afternoon Devonshire Tea. EFTPOS available for all member stalls and for any extras on the day.

It has been a quiet time for me on social media - when that happens it’s always because I have been insanely busy!! Georgia and I have had some major projects on the go and we’ve not been able to share any progress in case we gave the surprises away. I can share a photo of one of the projects - there are more to come later! Workshops and classes at The Quilt Merchant in Altona North are back in full swing - message me if you would like more information!

I'll be at the Seabreeze Quilters Inc Exhibition all weekend if you would like to pop in to say hello. We can chat about what classes and workshops you might like to do in the next term! I'm always happy to chat 😉- especially about patchwork and quilting! Hope to see you on the weekend.

Eclectic shopping - silk scarf, hand stitched in a gorgeous green; panels of British creatures; a zip tool because I can’t get the zipper pull to go on the teeth without cursing a lot; handmade cards with Japanese fabrics; and hexagons cut from Hexiform (I hadn’t heard of this before)! A couple of books as well makes up Day 1 of the Festival of Quilts!! Can’t wait to see what I can find tomorrow!!

My machine is all packed away for the next month as I head off overseas to the UK - starting in Birmingham at the Festival of Quilts!! Back for classes and workshops in early September!! # # #
