Our 4-Year-Old Kindergarten children recently enjoyed an exciting excursion to the Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne! πΏ
As part of our celebrations for Reconciliation Week and NAIDOC Week, the children participated in the **You Me Murrawee** program, where they explored the natural environment through a guided bush walk, listened to a meaningful story, and engaged in hands-on sandpit activities inspired by Aboriginal culture and connection to Country.
The experience provided a wonderful opportunity for the children to deepen their understanding of First Nations perspectives, develop a connection with nature, and learn about the importance of caring for the land.
What a fantastic day of learning, discovery, and cultural appreciation! ππ€β€οΈ

Our 3-Year-Old Kinders in the Wombats Room explored the importance of personal hygiene through a fun and engaging handwashing experiment! π«§π
Using pepper and soap, the children observed how germs can spread and how soap helps remove them from our hands. This hands-on learning experience sparked lots of curiosity and meaningful discussions around staying healthy, caring for ourselves, and the importance of good hygiene practices. β¨

We have such a diverse group of amazing educators and one of them is Sarbjit. Sarbjit is one educator that has really come out of her shell. From being a supportive educator within the rooms, always offering a helping hand to her next door neighbours in the rooms as well as supporting kitchen with her amazing cooking skills. She is a woman of many talents and we are super grateful for having her on our team.

Our Quokkas children in the Toddlers Room were busy creating their very own superhero masks! π¦ΈββοΈπ¦ΈββοΈ This experience stemmed from the childrenβs growing interest in dressing up as superheroes in the home corner, wearing capes, and engaging in imaginative role play.
The children explored their creativity through painting, designing, and discussing their favourite superhero powers while building confidence, communication, and fine motor skills through play-based learning. π«
