It's that time of year again for some serious puddle jumping.
What I see:
Filing our lungs with fresh air; boosting our Vitamin D; improving strength, balance and agility; recognising the seasons and weather patterns; using our imaginations; connecting with the enviroment; fostering freindships
What the children see:
A WHOLE LOT OF FUN!

The new and improved, finished sandpit.
This was actually completed a while back and has been well-loved by all the children.

In the midst of a sandpit makeover.
The small wooden sandpit is being replaced with a big inbuilt one, doubling the play area.
Pat has built a pergola so we have some permanent shade cover and the dirt he dug out has been used to fill in the ditches that were left by the concrete truck last year.

All the girls are very excited...the ones doing the feeding and the ones getting fed!
We discussed that we don't have to throw out all our food scraps, that some can be fed to our chickens. (And other food can go in to the worm farm)
Thank you to our lovely neighbours Vicki and Coral for a bounty of veggie and fruit scraps.
I'm so excited to be opening Jumping Puddles Family Day Care soon and having some fun adventures with my new friends.
I currently have limited vacancies available on the following days
Tuesday
Wednesday
Thursday
Taking enrolments and wait list now.
