The cold and rainy weather didn’t stop our Bush Kinder explorers today! Wrapped up in warm layers and waterproof gear, the children embraced the opportunity to experience nature in a different way.

From listening to raindrops on leaves and spotting signs of wildlife to splashing through puddles and exploring the changing environment, the children demonstrated curiosity, resilience, and a wonderful sense of adventure.

Outdoor learning in all kinds of weather helps children build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and deepen their connection with the natural world.

Cold, wet, and full of smiles — a fantastic day of learning and discovery in nature!

The gap fee is the difference between your total childcare fee and the amount covered by the Child Care Subsidy (CCS).

For example:
If the daily fee is $148.00 and your CCS 90%, your GAP gee is $21.48 per day.

This amount can vary depending on:
• Your CCS percentage
• Hours of recognised activity
• Your family income
• The number of hours your child attends
