No time for a post-meal walk to stop a sugar crash? Do this instead. 👇

Blood sugar crashes can drive intense cravings that feel impossible to ignore.

But you don't need a 30-minute walk to fix them.
Try the soleus push-up; this small, seated movement activates a unique muscle in your calf that pulls glucose directly from your bloodstream to use as energy.

You can literally lower your post-meal glucose spike while sitting at the dinner table or behind your desk.

Want to learn exactly how to do it?
👉Comment or DM ‘SOLEUS’ and I’ll send you my visual guide!

No time for breakfast?
It could be making cravings worse.

The school morning is chaos… and breakfast is often the first thing to get skipped.

You grab a coffee, get everyone out the door and tell yourself, “I’ll eat later.”

But going too long without food can contribute to stronger hunger signals and cravings for quick-energy foods, potentially making it harder to stick to your weight-loss goals.

Your body isn't trying to sabotage you.
It may simply be asking for fuel.

A balanced breakfast can help provide the energy you need for a busy day and support more stable hunger and energy levels.

Your body needs fuel, even on the busiest mornings.

Save this for the next morning when you're tempted to skip breakfast. 💜

Did you know that common daily habits, such as a cup of coffee, can cause your blood sugar to spike and trigger sugar cravings?

Here are 6 common daily habits to pay attention to:

1️⃣ Fasting or skipping meals
Going too long without eating can contribute to energy dips and stronger hunger/craving signals.

2️⃣ Stress
Chronic stress can affect the way your body regulates blood sugar and it can also make cravings harder to manage.

3️⃣ Alcohol 🍷
Especially when consumed on an empty stomach, alcohol can interfere with blood sugar regulation.

4️⃣ Sugar & refined carbohydrates 🍬
A diet rich in sugar and refined carbs can contribute to blood sugar highs and dips.

5️⃣ Coffee & other stimulants ☕
Caffeine is listed among the factors to consider when addressing low blood sugar and cravings.

6️⃣ Poor sleep 😴
Sleep matters too. Poor sleep can affect energy regulation, stress and your relationship with food.

And here's the important part:

Cravings are not a personal failure.

They can be a signal from your body, and understanding what is driving them is the first step towards changing the pattern.

Instead of asking:
❌ “Why can't I control myself?”

Try asking:
✨ “What might my body be trying to tell me?”

Because food freedom isn't about fighting your body.

It's about understanding it. 💜

Save this Reel and come back to it the next time you're wondering where those cravings are coming from.

Eating on autopilot?

Eating isn't always about hunger, cravings or emotions.

Have you ever found yourself standing in front of the pantry, eating something, and thinking...

"I'm not even hungry."

"I'm not particularly stressed."

"I wasn't even craving this."

So... why did I eat?

Because sometimes the biggest driver isn't hunger, emotions or cravings.

It's habit.

Every time we repeat a behaviour, our brain strengthens a neural pathway. Over time, that pathway becomes so efficient that the behaviour happens on autopilot.

That's why you might automatically reach for snacks after dinner, while watching TV or the moment you walk through the front door, even when there's no real need to eat.

The good news?

Habits aren't permanent.

Just as your brain learned the habit, it can learn a new one.

Food freedom isn't about relying on more willpower.
It's about understanding why you're eating and gently rewiring the patterns that no longer serve you.

When you stop blaming yourself and start understanding your brain, lasting change becomes possible.

Have you ever caught yourself eating automatically without feeling hungry or having a craving? Let me know in the comments. 👇

Most people have heard of blood sugar... but few understand why it matters.

Blood sugar isn't just something people with diabetes need to think about.

It influences our energy, concentration, mood and, for many people, even our cravings.

That's why understanding how blood sugar works is one of the first steps towards understanding your eating habits.

The more you understand what's happening in your body, the easier it becomes to work with it instead of fighting against it.

💜 In the coming days, I'll be sharing more about blood sugar fluctuations, how they can affect cravings, and simple ways to keep them more stable.

Have you ever noticed that your cravings are stronger when you're tired or low on energy?

Have you ever felt like your sweet cravings come out of nowhere?

It can feel completely random...

One moment you're feeling fine, and the next you're reaching for chocolate, biscuits or something sweet.

But cravings are rarely random.

One common reason is blood sugar fluctuations.

When your blood sugar drops, your body is looking for a quick source of energy. That's why you may notice not only sweet cravings, but also energy crashes, brain fog, or even feeling irritable or anxious.

The good news? Once you understand what's driving your cravings, you can start addressing the cause rather than relying on willpower.

💜 Which of these signs do you recognize most?
Let me know in the comments.

Sugar cravings aren't about willpower. Often, they're simply your body's way of asking for energy.

When your blood sugar rises quickly and then crashes, your body suddenly has less energy available.

To restore that energy, it sends a very clear signal:

"Find me the fastest source of fuel!"

And what's one of the quickest ways to get glucose into your bloodstream?

🍫 Sugary foods.

That's why you may suddenly find yourself craving chocolate, biscuits or other sweet foods.

Understanding blood sugar is an important first step because it helps you see that cravings are often signals from your body, not something to feel guilty about.

When you understand why you're craving certain foods, you can choose the right strategy to address the cause, not just the symptom.

Why do I crave cake and lollies… but not broccoli? 🥦

There’s a reason we tend to reach for certain foods when we want to comfort or reward ourselves.

Sweet and other highly palatable foods activate the brain’s reward system, which can give us a quick sense of pleasure and satisfaction.

And when we discover that a particular food makes us feel better in the moment, it can become an easy, effective way to cope with difficult emotions or simply give ourselves a little reward.

Understanding the pattern is the first step towards changing it.

Can hypnosis help me change my eating habits?

The short answer is: yes.

But probably not for the reason you think.

Many of our eating habits don't happen because we've consciously decided to eat. They happen because our brain has learned to respond automatically to certain situations.

You finish dinner... and automatically reach for something sweet.

You sit down to watch TV... and suddenly you're looking for snacks.

You start cooking... and find yourself eating before the meal is even ready.

Over time, these repeated behaviours become automatic habits, stored in the subconscious mind.

This is why hypnosis can be so effective.

Rather than relying on willpower alone, hypnosis allows us to work with the subconscious mind, the part of the brain where these automatic patterns are learned and stored. By reinforcing new, healthier patterns, eating habits can begin to feel more natural and require less conscious effort.

✨ Lasting change isn't about fighting yourself.
It's about helping your brain learn a different response.

💜 What's one eating habit you'd like to change?

Ever wondered how a new eating habit is actually created?

In this reel, I use a simple analogy to explain how our brain learns new habits, and why they eventually become automatic.

The same process happens with our eating habits.

Whether it's automatically reaching for something sweet after dinner, snacking while watching TV, or eating while cooking, these behaviours often start for a reason. However, over time, as they are repeated, your brain strengthens the connection until the behaviour happens on autopilot.

The exciting part is that this works both ways.

Your brain can also learn new, healthier, eating habits.

This is where hypnosis can be so powerful.

Rather than relying on willpower alone, hypnosis allows us to work with the subconscious mind, where automatic behaviours are stored. By reinforcing new neural pathways at a subconscious level, creating healthier habits can become easier, more natural, and quicker than relying on conscious effort alone.

That's why lasting change isn't simply about trying harder or trying again.

It's about helping your brain make healthier choices feel more natural and automatic.

💜 What's one eating habit you'd love to make feel automatic?

I'd love to hear in the comments.
