Our Pre-Kinder children have been very busy learning all about the Colour Monsters! 🌈👾

Through stories, discussions and creative experiences, the children have been exploring different emotions and learning how colours can help us understand our feelings. From happy yellow monsters to calm green monsters and sad blue monsters, the children have loved identifying emotions and talking about how they feel.

These experiences support children in building emotional awareness, communication skills and empathy for others — all while having lots of colourful fun along the way! 💛💙💚❤️

Our Toddler room have been busy little chefs last week! 🍌🧁

Before making our delicious banana muffins, the children worked together to create a shopping list and then headed off to Coles to purchase all of the ingredients we needed. Along the way, the children practised communication, teamwork, early literacy and numeracy skills, all while building confidence within the community.

At our service, we pride ourselves on the strong connections we make with our local community and love giving children opportunities to get out and explore the local area across all age groups. These real-world learning experiences help create meaningful connections and lasting memories for our children 💛

Rain, mud, puddles and all — the wet weather never stops our Kinder group from having the BEST time at Bush Kinder! 🌧️🍃

Wrapped up in our warm gear and ready for adventure, the children embraced the outdoors, explored nature, splashed through puddles, and discovered just how much fun learning outside can be in every season.

Bush Kinder encourages resilience, curiosity, confidence and a love for the natural environment — rain included! 💚

Today our centre proudly took part in National Simultaneous Storytime! 📚✨

Children across all age groups gathered together to enjoy this year’s story, Luna Roo, alongside thousands of other children and educators around Australia. It was such a special experience to share the joy of reading, storytelling and imagination as a community.

Experiences like these help foster a love of literacy from an early age, while encouraging listening skills, language development and creativity. We loved seeing the children so engaged and excited throughout the story! 💛

Today we welcomed a very special dental visit to the service! 🦷✨

We began with an educational session all about the importance of dental hygiene, learning how to properly care for our teeth, the foods that help keep them healthy, and why regular brushing is so important. The children were incredibly engaged, asking lots of thoughtful questions and sharing their own brushing routines!

Afterwards, the children had the opportunity to have their teeth checked, helping to create positive and familiar experiences around visiting the dentist from a young age.
