Welcome to Karalundi. Karalundi College is a 7-10 co-educational boarding school for Aboriginal students situated as an 'oasis in the desert', 60kms north of Meekatharra, Western Australia. It is a mandated drug and alcohol free, Christian community.

o bring the best of education to students of surrounding towns to provide a unique experience and upbringing. Our school challenges our students to the best of their abilities, where they can learn and work in a safe and caring environment that focuses on building their success and strength of character. We are built on the pride of Aboriginal culture & heritage, as well as a fortified Christian mission. Karalundi is recognised as a leading indigenous boarding school and community here in WA, and we have never lost sight of our founding vision, with our students, staff and families alike continuing to be enriched in the spiritual aspects of our vision.

Karalundi College Concerns, Complaints and Disputes Policy

Karalundi College welcomes suggestions and comments from parents/legal guardians and takes seriously any complaints and concerns that may be raised. A full copy of the school’s Concerns, Complaints and Disputes policy and procedure is available for download at: www.karalundi.wa.edu.au or a hardcopy can be obtained from the school Reception/Administration office. If you are unable to attend the school in person you are welcome to ring us on 08 9981 2937 and request a copy to be sent to you by mail.

‘The Director General of the Department of Education is responsible for ensuring that the school observes the registration standards, including the standard about its complaints handling system. Any student, parent or community member is entitled to contact the Director General with concerns about how the school has dealt with a complaint. Information is available on the Department of Education website. While the Director General may consider whether the school has breached the registration standards, she does not have power to intervene in a complaint or override the school’s decision.’
